you can google it...
The Russians would have some sort of advantage hence they have offered PAF...Don't you agree?

Well, Its hardly a Surprise since India buying heavily from US / Israel . Besides, Forget Pakistan and India , Russians are even selling Rd-180s ( their Best Staged combustion Cryos ) to Americans ! wow.

Who knows,fake news maybe.

Russians know pakistan cannot afford too many su-35 even if they want to.Plus there is the indian angle,,,without indian money they will be in a bad position. Its a fact of life.

Pakistan can afford 3-4 squadrons of Su-35s and can still get them even if India has a problem selling those to Pakistan.

China want access to Su-35 engine tech so they can buy 58 jets resell 48-50 to Pakistan. This kind of solution can be arranged between Russia + China + Pakistan.

So hypothetically if Russia does sell Su-35, what will India do other than protest?

Baffling to see you Indians so full of yourself.

Its not day dreaming its just Indians don't know what really happening behind the close doors diplomatically. Pakistan today diplomatically in its best times. If continues Indians will have many shocks to bear.

Russia simply cannot do that...........same as americans will never sell u anything good now.
Same as french and english will not sell u anything cutting edge.

Sorry to say but all ur hopes are on the chinese.

Pakistan today diplomatically in its best times

Diplomacy is over-rated,,,it accounts for nothing.People want money and profits so unless u can give them better return for money than india,u will get nothing.

Some hard truth.

Well Sukhoi-35 will move our Airforce into 2000+ era , much needed upgrade

We have alot of Mirages 150-200 that we need to replace and 36 odd Sukhoi-35 would help retire the Mirage fleet

Would be excellent purchase for Airforce add more quality

Sukhoi-35 could be the "Main Air Space Protector" if we opt for this Jet , very capable

I see this really as chance to replace the 1960-1970's Mirage technology its really about time

Tier 1 : Sukhoi - Air Superiority / Protecting Airspace

Tier 2: F16 , Special Missions , Air Space protection

Tier 3 : JF17 Thunder Workhorse

Tier 4 : Chinese / Mirage

Sukhoi would certainly help retire mirage fleet
And anti-ship role ?:pop:

Wow! There is abundance of foolishness here.

The Su-35 has a better engine, better radar, better avionics, and possibly better build quality then the su-27/J-11 variants already in service around the world.

For Pakistan it would be best if China bought a few, absorbed the tech, developed spinoff products and spreadout the benefits to the JF-17 and J-10B program

that would be more beneficial then 2-4 squadrans of the Su-35 in PAF service, and at a huge cost savings
the difference which could be invested into the economy

What's the credibility of this news.

May be used SU-27s with upgrades n also this will be for PN. But good thing is that PN can acquire more aircraft from operators in Africa n Asia to complement their fleet.

How many SU-27s are produced n how many are flying not include SU-30 J-11s.

It doesn't cost $ 100 million a plane. You need to learn the real price tag before opening up your mouth silly.

40 SU-35's would cost Pakistan $ 60-75 million a piece with ALL infrastructure setup and all. Over 3-4 years, (time it would take to deliver these), its like $ 800-850 million a year. Pakistan's economy is moving in the right direction and fast. They have over $ 18 billion in their savings account, which by 2018 is expected to cross over $ 20 billion, even with a defense spending increase of about 10-15%. I am SURE they can afford these.

By the end of 2018 or in 2019, Pakistan's defense budget is estimated to be close or equal to that of Turkey ($ 16-18 billion). So spending $ 2 billion on new jets, isn't a big deal. They are also buying FC-31 from China too and some more used -16's and JFT Block III :enjoy:

The Pakistan you knew till 2012, isn't the Pakistan you are dealing with today. Today's Pakistan is going to be one of the top 10-15th largest economies over the next decade or so. Pakistan today is where India was back in 1998. Getting into a HUGE tech and economy boom. If the military hadn't poke their nose into matter in 1998, Pakistan could be there in 2005, compared to today. So she lost a full decade plus, but its never too late.
