The QS Global Business School Report 2013 also ranked Indian MBA graduates as the world's most academically distinguished.
LONDON: IIM Ahmedabad has found a place in top 39 elite Business Schools in the world named by MBA employers, according to QS Global Business School Report 2013, which also ranked Indian MBA graduates as the world's most academically distinguished.

The report, published by webportal - QS TopMBA.com - highlights four distinct categories of business school in terms of employer recognition: Elite Global, Emerging Global, Elite Regional, Emerging Regional.

It said that B school graduates from India are the world's most academically distinguished.

Students at Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (780) and Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (767) have the highest average GMAT scores in the world, well ahead of the leading US institution Stanford (730), and INSEAD in Europe (704), the report said.

The ratings provide a detailed overview of the most popular business schools around the world, based on details provided to QS by over 3,300 employers who actively recruit MBA graduates.

The report is based on 4,318 responses from recruiters, making it the largest survey of its kind.

Of the 39 leading institutions to make the Elite Global category, 15 are from the US, Canada (7), UK (3), Spain (3), France and Singapore 2 each, and one each from India, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Ireland and Denmark.

Apart from IIM Ahmedabad, two Asian B Schools which have made in to the Elite Global category are INSEAD Singapore and NUS Business School, National University of Singapore.

where is the 50 cent army and their PISS test they keep talking about?

Can you handle the truth? If you want the truth, I'll give you the truth, but don't call me 50 cent.

1) GMAT can be taken multiple times, if you don't score well, repeat it. PISA test can only be taken once.

2) Admission to elite MBA programs is based on a holistic approach, GMAT is only one of the many criterias. Only 3rd-rate institutions use GMAT as main admission criteria, hence, higher GMAT score.
(One has to be deluded to think that IIM is better than top 100 US MBA program just because it has a higher GMAT, LOL)

3) MBA is NO measure of academic rigour. MBAs don't do academic research work, the entire program is about case study and networking. Many MBA textbooks are the same as the ones undergraduate business program uses.

4) QS world university ranking is a laughing stock among academia, the Times Higher Education had to split from QS to form its own ranking.

This QS Global Business School Report is no different. The ranking is based on survey form, how scientific, LOL!!

Don't mean to burst the Indian bubble. Hope you can handle the truth.

As usual you are butthurt !
I can only laugh at some of your points. comparing GMAT to PISA is totally out of context and also shows your knowlwdge in the field.

Regarding the survey , it is a survey from the recruiters not the schools. why would recruiters rank a school higher if its students are not good ?

Only a moron will compare GMAT with PISA

Exactly, you can't. You can buy GMAT practice book and take GMAT multiple times, you can't do that with PISA. It was Shinigami who mentioned PISA. I only provided the truth.

LOL, go back and read my post again. Keyword, "survey." A survey is a survey, doesn't matter from schools or recruiters, the point is it's not a scientific approach. You always ended up embarrassing yourself,

YOU won't be able to take GMAT even with practice books. And lemme tell you for the IIMs they don't take GMAT, they take a nightmare exam called CAT that makes GMAT look like a joke. Since you're a moron you won't be able to take PISA or GMAT or CAT.

Even if you can't handle the truth, there's no need to make personal attack. The article talks about GMAT. See a psychologist if you can't cope.

The article talks about IIM you lazy bum. And IIMs don't take GMAT. Difficult to comprehend?
