Buddy I don't want to sound rude. But Pakistan DOES NOT HAVE a navy as of now. India's INS Vikramaditya alone would be more than Pak navy's whole yearly budget.

Years of neglect has meant Pakistan navy is such a puny force that its largest warship (4000 odd tons) is equal to our one of the many frigates.

Fact is fact. Like how we are actually way way behind China (but atleast we are ahead than them in destroyers, ASW platforms and Airctraft carriers) in submarine technology and secondary surface fleet.

Indians logic be like: we have more advanced Navy than Pakistan so Pakistan Navy doesn't deserve Navy status in our opinion.

Our Navy alone has 50 odd Mig29Ks and other fixed wing aircrafts which are more than enough for many of your PAF squadrons. Infact, we have like 100+ missile boats in our Coast Guard. Its not even a comparison.

But I do agree. It is nothing to be arrogant about. Our real competition is with China. And for that, we are getting a third Aircraft Carrier and atleast 6 other Stealth destroyers and 6 SSBNs.

Technically speaking, anything that potentially opposes the PLAN is a "counter". India and Japan are no different from any other country or naval force (such as the US 7th Fleet) so long as they work as a countercurrent against Chinese naval expansion in Asia.

That is why I used the word "potent".
USN will of no use to the Asian nations in times of actual crisis. We all know how USA "helps" its allies when they need it the most.... aka Pakistan or Ukraine or whatever. USA only cares for USA. Nothing wrong in it btw.

The Jh7 even with better radar and EW suite will have little survival chance against Indian Su30 or Mig 29K fighters as it is not agile enough and don't have advantages of stealth,speed or high altitude.

The Air superiority jet good enough for Pak is J11, Su35 or J16 if available as Chinese Jets as all having IRSTs, Powerful radars, some stealth, speed and sufficient ceiling along with next gen EW suits. May carry LRCM and deliver them any where in deep enemy territory.

The fighter/bombers like H6K or JH7 are quite relevant for big Countries like China having main threats are relatively far way from their shores. Meanwhile Pak main rival India is few hundred KM away. Further Pak don't have anti shipping missiles like DF21 or other LRCM so far which can be carried by such jets.

i can't ever see PAF/PN ever going all out and being ambitious enough to buy a decent fleet of SU-35s, the PAF right now seem content buying a 8 F-16s, but have never asked for more, its accepted that in order to pack a decent power punch the PAF would need something like 100-130 F-16, but the PAF would rather bide its time and be very modest in its procurements i'm a 100% convinced they could have campaigned for a bigger F-16 fleet given how many F-16 operators there are and how many NATO countries have basically moth balled them in storage facilities.
I cant ever see PAF letting go of the F-16 dream in favor of the SU-35s/JH-7B/J-16s/Naval J-10s the chinese options are all unproven and untested

You see, you guys are always happy with small battles while end up losing all wars.... and even half your country. Thtas not how strategic planning works.

Even in 1965, PAF had more success than IAF but in no way IAF was decimated. Infact, within 6 years, the same IAF destroyed your airforce and our navy had a complete blocakde of your coastline.

Not much to be proud of beating a country 3 times smaller, 1/10th our economy and 7 times less than our population. But you see, we are gearing up to face any eventuality afterall.
