But, why would you think we will attack you? It is a ridiculous assumption. Our fleet has been larger than BN, SL for a long time. Our army is bigger than Nepal and Bhutan. You do not see us annexing them.

Understand rationally the point I am making. The PN is a professional force, I do not doubt that. The only fleet worth talking about in the PN is the sub fleet. The rest are for any major naval power, irritants. Not a thing to worry about. In this scenario, a chap comes across and says the PN needs an air arm to deter the IN is a joke.
The deterrence in the PN to the IN is the sub-surface fleet. The addition of submarines is what is required, not aircraft. Leave the air job to the PAF.

Buddy I don't want to sound rude. But Pakistan DOES NOT HAVE a navy as of now. India's INS Vikramaditya alone would be more than Pak navy's whole yearly budget.

Years of neglect has meant Pakistan navy is such a puny force that its largest warship (4000 odd tons) is equal to our one of the many frigates.

Fact is fact. Like how we are actually way way behind China (but atleast we are ahead than them in destroyers, ASW platforms and Airctraft carriers) in submarine technology and secondary surface fleet.

Our navy is proper enough to defend our coastline; compare Pakistan's coast with India's coast.

Not really. You guys should develop your surface fleet. Atleast a few destroyers and a more potent Frigate fleet is needed for that. Every time navy topic comes up, you guys say you will blast Indian ships (especially our two Aircraft Carriers) with missiles and carrier killers. It is ssooo funny because most potent navies already have hundreds of these missiles. Then why does the UK, France, USA, China invests billions every year to have multiple destroyers, Frigates and Aircraft Carriers ?

JH-7B is capable of self-defence with PL-12 or PL-15 missiles. It could carry various bombs and missiles including supersonic YJ-12 in the PLAAF inventory. It's much less expensive compared with J-16 or Su-30s.
