If Joe Biden doesn’t want to talk to PM Imran Khan then Good Luck!!! No one is waiting here either- says NSA Moeed Yusuf

Fair enough. Although, I seriously doubt the 'vast majority' part especially when the same 'vast majority' dreams every day of migrating to the US.

Unfortunately, choosing 1 powerful country over the other has its consequences and I believe we have been victims of the consequences for a good 10-15 years now. But good luck to your 'vast majority' :) whereas in reality it is the 'silent' majority that suffers through it all.
So what benefits can we expect from USA.
Military sanctions
Economic sanctions
Terrorist label
FATF continuation with further additions.

Oh dear or dear. I hope you are getting paid because if you are not my sympathies

I wonder who in the White House thought it was a good idea not to contact the PM of Pakistan and just say hello, regardless of policy differences.

Still, if Biden does contact Imran Khan, it will be treated with great fanfare, at least by Pakistani media.

Too little too late. The damage is done.

Migrating to any country for monetary reasons vs choosing a side are two very different things. The two should not be confused.

America is done and dusted in Pakistan. No amount of USAID can restore US image.

Yeah! You did and guess what got the same response and than tried to contact the government, begging for a meeting with the PM, got a snub there as well.
Some of us really put this country to shame but thanks God people currently in place of power ant one of them.

Agree, Musharraf really put us to shame for allowing the CIA to use Shamsi airbase and hiding from everyone in Pakistan for years.

Also, if I were a US Secretary of State, I’d probably be far too busy to entertain IK, if I needed something, who would I call....? Ghostbusters HQ.

We are still not as useless as some people/countries would have you believe. We are very important when matters of the Middle East or East Asia are concerned; so much so that we are at times in positions to make and/or break many international conspiracies and cooperation in the aforementioned regions, amongst others.

But, we have to find common ground with the Americans. Either that or we tell the Chinese that we expect more, a lot more from them than what has been coming. I mean I am all for our Chinese friends but how much has their contribution really helped us? From UNSC decisions to FATF and from Finance to Commerce. On the contrary, if we had similar relations with the US, none of our citizens would be on the global terrorist list, we would not be in the grey list, lenders would be lining our doors with favorable offers, and if we really wanted even our trade would be better with the US, Canada, Australia and Europe etc.

And I am not saying we abandon the Chinese, there was a time when we brought China and the US together through back-door diplomacy. We can play a balancing part again, just like we are doing with Iran and Saudi Arabia.

Come what may, we cannot trust the americans.

Moral of the story is: Mother India is going to get pregnant.
And Pak ???

Military sanctions
Economic sanctions

Down the line if Pak d faults on Chinese Loans, what would be consequences??

Why should the US talk to IK? what is the need to talk to him? No need at all. The US is already talking to Army top brass. Right? Yeah, they already had it at the highest level.
Once the US used carrot and stick (reward and punishment) as an effective foreign policy. Now It tends to use only the second as Pakistan has practically gone out of the US friend zone by going with China.
Pakistan has to wait patiently for the time when the US. find itself at the end of its options in the region, Pakistan then can play its cards well.
In the present scenario, Pakistan has to settle the Afghanistan issue peacefully. This is our biggest concern right now. Why? India and the US will play the part of spoilers in it. Peace in Afghanistan is not in the interests of both. The uncertainty and volatile situation in the region gave them a place to play their game against CPEC.

You are amongst the ignorant and the ungrateful. It was the American equipment with which we taught India a lesson 2 years ago and it was the American weapons which allowed us to put India to shame in '65. It was the Americans who drew the red line otherwise India would have invaded West Pakistan and only God knows what would have happened to Pakistan in '71. It was the Americans who looked the other way while we became a Nuclear Power even though the Americans never wanted us to become a Nuclear Power. It was the American money which not only saved us from default in 2001 but gave strength to our economy.

Lesson to learn is that the Americans are far better and generous when their interests align with us. We just need to make sure that our interests are aligned, globally; so long as they are not to the detriment of China.

So you have started name calling.
Its shows how fragile your argument is.

I may be ignorant but I am grateful to Allah only and not your god America.
We paid for our equipment
We lost billions due to war in Afghanistan
We have had nothing but blockages.
Your god America has blocked acquisition of f16 V 70
Your god America that you are grateful to has blocked all military aid
Your god America that you are worshipping has blocked engines for t129 after refusing to sell Cobra.
You god America that you openly worship is firmly supporting India.

It was America that blocked all aid to Pakistan in 65 and 71 whilst India was filly supported by Russia.
Where the f did you get the American Red line story...

Google search will show yiu that yiu god is openly saying we invaded Afghanistan to take Pakistani nuke.

Now my insult back you.

Got you tongue out of.......naaaa you are not worth it

The Americans have already run out of options. Ask them if they have found military bases.
If yiu fault kn any loans with anyone what are the consequences?

It is no different with IMF btw. Even Pakistani roads are not safe when it comes to IMF.

Agreed any loans that are defaulted have consequences

Biden's policy is a complete mess, none of his admin can be trusted, as they've made it clear their entire support is behind India, provided it plays ball.
