What's new

If Jinnah could see Pakistan today, what would he say?

PS: Then he will look at India and how Muslims are being treated and he will say

"SEE I WAS RIGHT "

  • Human Rights Violation in Kashmir
  • Lynching of Muslims
  • Beat down of Muslims by people for random acts
  • Can't eat openly what they want
  • Discrimination at workplace
  • 5-7 Seperatist movements in India

.
Jinnah (R.A) didn't. And if anything, he was offered temporarily ruling over Hindustan through Hindu-dominated political party aka Congress which at the time was desperate to not afford to break the nation into two which Jinnah (R.A) was clamoring for as separate Muslim nation.

It doesn't make sense for Jinnah (R.A) for agree in the last min after the environment [Hindu extremist] proved hostile for Jinnah (R.A) to clamor for separate Muslim state taking the long run of Muslim population into the account which proved useful at last. And it all started with Allama Iqbal (R.A) who too was under the delusion of Hindustan where Muslims and Hindus can live together with peace and harmony until reality forced him to deal otherwise. Same case for Jinnah (R.A) as the situation made case for him eventually which encouraged him to execute the vision of Allama Iqbal (R.A) at last; Pakistan.

But of course, you have your source and we have our.
I am not sure about jinnah being offered premeirship of India but at least we both agree that congress led by Gandhi(P.B.U.H.) and Nehru(His Exalted Highness) were staunchly opposed to division and Jinnah wanted a separate homeland. I am going by british document which suggests collusion between Jinnah and part of british establishment(which was not in power but were influential nevertheless).
That itself would not have brought the division, the credit goes to Jinnah and muslim league and the millions of muslims who fought for it. Any suggestion of divine intervention (when it can be perfectly justified by normal way the world operates) takes away credit from the people who actually did it.
