Last week a report through “Reuters” read that Senate Standing Committee on Commerce & Textile headed by Senator Karim Ahmed Khawaja has suggested to approach, invite and convince rich and businessmen Hindu, Sikh, Parsi and Christian communities which left Pakistan on partition the importance and advantages of their investing in their original native land now called Pakistan. I had the best truly abrupt natural laughter of the year reading it.
I am sure soon the Indians more revolutionizing this wonderful idea would invite and approach those rich businessmen who left Bharat at participation for the then newly born Pakistan. In this case it is history that only a very few rich migrated to Pakistan while majority migrating were poor and from the lower middle. Out of a very few such businessman families Mian Mohammad Sharif a highly respected and poious was one. Reading this news item reminded me that only a few hours earlier Shaikh Rasheed Ahmed in a talk show repeated the words “two Mittals, two Millals”.
