If India and Pakistan ever come to nuclear blows, they both should be totally destroyed (and that is exactly what some powers want to see), idiots have no right to live.

Politicians talking like that (for public consumption) is understandable, common people talking like that are idiots regardless of which side of border they live in.

One can never get rid of his neigbours, it's wise to realize the fact and live peacefully. You never increase your safety by increasing threat for the other.

Sooner we realize it, better it will be for the people of this region.

There are other issues linked to surgical strikes across the LC

1. India has always maintained the peace & status quo along the LC. Pak violated it at kargil and faced the cosequences.

2. Surgical strikes rarely remain ' surgical'

3. The ends are being met thru other means, PA is deployed on both borders possibly for the first time since 47, it is spending equal energy on defending itself within Pak as it now spends on its borders,it stands completely exposed as a nation providing succour and shelter to those whom the world seeks for the wrong reasons , economically the nation is forever on the brink.. the list goes on.

Does an adversary need to do more ?

India will not go for any option like 'Surgical' strikes and forget about these fake stories you used to trust.

Time has changed and this is 2011 but not 47 so it is the need of time to protect boundaries and for that purposes Army exits. Nation didn't exposed for reason you mentioned as nation never supports policies made in Washington or NATO headquarters. World is not looking for its own but for specific countries over their priorities. Our priorities are important than any others so scenario is quite different from your imaginations.
