in this article talibans r rite there shud b no hakoon e naswan law in pakistan and also presidential istasna....

These militants now want the Govt to repeal the " women rights " and " presidential immunity " from the constitution . So , should we now pass laws banning women from leaving their homes , deciding their lives and making choices freely instead of being treated like infants , their right to receive education , being equal in society and impose some form of Taliban law on them ?

Ever rising and ridiculous demands as I said before !

But , the million dollar question is why come to the negotiating table when we have the upper hand , you are cornered , only left in control for small pockets in tribal areas and looking for ceasefire to regroup and attack Pakistan Army ? :azn: Any logical answer ?

what they did in sawat, start capturing more areas

Sign a deal in Swat , the next day these psychopaths start arriving and terrorizing people in Buner !

Can these people be trusted , mate ?

After what they done in Sawat, Taliban are the biggest liars, can not be trusted at all

I remember them saying that the constitution wasn't acceptable to them in whole and the democracy was incompatible with their Islam . Why the sudden offer to accept it now ?

Sir what they did in swat is another thing but all the other 2 agreements were broken by your Army and government and they back stabbed the Taliban in their back and that is even admitted by General R Orazkzai who is also former governor of KPK Sir so lets not go their So the history of your Army is also not good

Stop coming up with crap for your information Girls schools are still open in North Wazristan where Taliban are in control stop posting lies

Recent events in Swat and adjoining areas show that the military-dominated Pakistani state is either unwilling or unable to perform its basic function: enforcing the legitimate monopoly over the means of coercion and administration in its own territory permanently. Even if we concede that striking a cease-fire agreement with the Taliban was the only feasible option in the face of rising human costs of the military campaign, how is the government going to make sure that the Taliban would have made a credible commitment? What is to stop the Taliban from reneging on their promises?

In all of the previous "peace deals" in the FATA, the TTP had violated the terms of earlier cease-fire agreements by attacking and kidnapping security personnel, terrorizing the population, burning down hundreds of girls' schools in Swat, and murdered civilians and military personnel.

In other words, it's going to be déjà vu all over again. The TTP's ideology is poles apart and incompatible with the Pakistani state. So what is this so called 'peace deal' or 'ceasefire' all about? It is just a ruse to regroup for the next round seeing that they have been battered by the PA and PAF of late and need time to reorganize themselves.

How come govt forces has upper hand?

If its Pak-Fauj Vs others, Pak-Fauj has upper hand..
If its other vs Western forces, Western forces don't have upper hand...

I need to learn logic now.. :cuckoo:

The Govt signed a peace deal , what did they do ? Tried to " conquer " other areas and attacked the military despite the agreement :azn:

What schools are left in the tribal areas if any for the women to go there and learn ? Secondly , try to tolerate the " difference of opinion " , I know its very hard for your likes .

How come govt forces has upper hand?

Check the records and the status of various ongoing operations and the situation in those areas , it is that simple .

Where did I mention anything about the Western forces ? What are these others ? Are these states or militants ?

What are you talking about ?

When was the last time , you updated yourself on the Operation in North West Pakistan ?

Because seriously , you appear far behind in your reading/research to me .

The Govt doesn't prefer to sign deals with the militants now , if you may know . Confident by the successes of the army operations .

What will Taliban do after that?

Nothing will happen. The only solution against these rented terrorist is to destroy them completely for good. As long as these rented terrorists are working for foreign powers & these rented terrorists who have no ideology & whoes religious believes are totaly corrupt there can be no peace with these rented terrorists, plus Afghanistan is sending in more rented man power to grow these rented terrorists.

What will Taliban do after that?

Get powerful and extort money for agreeing to reopen schools and also any development.

The point is we have to weaken their resource centers aka money generating units/methods and so on.

Schools were targeted bcoz they were used by Army .. Similar incident happen in India once, The Para-military used school as temperory base, The Maoists start blowing up school, immediately para-military were asked to move out of schools.. Similarly Pakistani forces must not use school as temp bases... The big question is who dare to ask Pak-Fauj to do something...
