ICJ hearing on Kulbhushan Jadhav case : News, Updates & Discussions

Funny,

Pakistan did not requested the removal of Indian judge from the ICJ panel. Most of the commentary on the interim verdict has came from him.

Were Pakistani lawyers blind or mute to not have seen or requested that? Its not later either... Request removal of judge from the "Party's Country" or allow another judge from Pakistan on the Panel.

WTF? How could they have overlooked that?

Why did GOP agree to go to the ICJ, when they could have said no we dont agree to it, because its a matter of national security, a spy does not come under vienna convention, a very fishy judgement. ICJ cannot intervene in national security matters.
Because Pakistan cannot afford to open that pandora's box and be found to be brazenly defying international law, the consequences would be mammoth.

I like your sense of humor.
Have you heard of that story where a monkey snatches the cake from a cat? lol

Nope. But I have seen monkey getting arrested red handed in case of KBY. :)

WTF? How could they have overlooked that?

Why would they "overlook" that if they were asked not to defend the case? Can you recall Nawaz-Sajjan secret meeting not so long ago?

Babar Awan has been crying that Pakistan should not have spoken a word other than challenging ICJ's jurisdiction on the matter. As per Pakistan's given (and ICJ's accepted framework), Pakistan is not obliged to accept ICJ on matters related to National Security.

You are still a kid dude, exaggerating every small thing. Most countries defy international law at some point. No one outside bharat would even care about this if it happened.

Beside that, another blast from the past..... for reference, indeed. We have other references as well..... BTW, does veto means to violate ICJ order?

The ICJ is the primary judicial branch of the UNO, which is spearheaded by UNSC, each of whose members are empowered to exercise their VETO power.

So its not a violation per se.

Example: the High court is always overpowered by the Supreme court.

pakistan has lost head & tail....
.....now progressing to loose the coin too...
Kashmir is bilateral..
Jadhav is vianna resolution...
They wanted to shame India, But now ending up as laughing stock....

The Cherry on the cake, also pointed out by some Indian Thinks, that since in a bilateral issue, India has involved a third party, therefore it's lost it's argument on Kashmir being a bilateral issue thus not allowing mediation by a third party, India has virtually shot it'self in the foot.... Thank you....please come again. :D

It is not that simple. Pakistan did try and went to ICJ in 70's, but ICJ said it has no jurisdiction on Kashmir issue. Moreover both parties have to appear before the court. In case of Jadhav, Pakistan did the mistake of appearing in the court.
