That fact remained untouched as the sub-continental nations played out an absolute humdinger in the quarterfinals of the U-19 World Cup at the Tony Ireland Stadium in Townsville, Australia, on Monday.

After Aparajith had steadied the batting with a fine 51, Mumbai’s Harmeet scored the winning runs with two overs and a wicket to spare as India chased Pakistan’s total of 136, made possible by Babar Azam’s 50.
