PAF AWACS can lock it or not?- and to bomb you have to come nearer- nearer to be in the range of Aim-120- so?- it will be locked on as soon as it takes off- chill-

Yes- they never gona waste any oppurtinity to pressurize Pakistan- and this "little amrika gona attack Pakistan" was their opportunity- wasted though-

thats is if it doesnt kaboom at the launch pad as most indian missiles are unreliable.....due to poor quality parts provided by private contractors...

300 km rocket launchers are not hard to make since Pakistan has longer range missile such M9 or M11, you aircraft might be protected from shelters..how about the runways, all hangars and oterh facilities...your aircraft will never be able to use that airbase again.

Since you do not know the difference between multibarrel rocket and much more expensive Short range ballistic missile.

PS:In wartime runways are rebuilt in matter of hours.

Phalcon and Aerostats has higher ranges than PAF AWACS. They will be under threat from Indian long range SAM systems if they come close to Indian border while MKI can launch air to air missile from long range.

Do you think in an event of war the Aircrafts will continue to be stationed there, aka sitting ducks ? They will simply strike and redeploy somewhere safer. Besides dont you feel that India's MoD does more brainstorming than you do ?

As of August 2011 , Indian Air force operates 159 Su30MKI across 8 sqds
while Number of Mig21 have fallen to 154 as of September 2011 , thanks to both retirement and crashes
By 2017 , Mig21 will fall down to zero , while Su30MKI will rise to 270

Now my question is , in few yr we will not have any other aircraft to deploy in our frontline bases except MKI , coz Rafale would be deployed in Northeast , while PAKFA would be initially deployed in Rae Baraili to provide aircover to Delhi

Earlier , we used to deploy Mig21 in our Airbases facing Pakistan and Mig21/27 in Northeast
Today , those Mig21/27 squadrons stationed on the front line are being retired , and only MKI is available to replace them
While we have tried to delay the deployment of MKI against pakistan , as far as possible

Thats the reason why Mig29s were Deployed in our forward bases in 2009,2010 , when Mig21 stationed there were phased out
we could have easily deployed MKI in 2009 , since we had atleast 110 of them in 2009 and 140 of them in 2010 , while only 36 were stationed against china
