Here's where I think the mistake is. India can't make this drone right now, this is true, but if you don't start now, in 20 years you are once again back in the same position you are now.

China can't make shit, in 1989, but after the sanctions China today can make some of the world's most sophisticated instruments of war. Yes, China was weak, very weak between 89 and pretty much a few years ago, but so what. At some point that will end.

Everyone must start somewhere, and in a technology as critical, yet not so urgent, is the perfect opportunity to make Make in India work.

Well its only about operating those avengers so infrastructure will be build to support, and 100 no. is fcking huge for India when we already dealing for Heron from Israel. US drone strike is pretty much normal in pak, they won't even know until we tell them that it come from Indian side. And it will counter China too.
