Let's keep things in perspective, PAF failed on 26th as well. They intruded 6-7 NM inside Pakistan dropped bombs and went back unscathed. Pakistan needs to introspect as much as India.

They distracted PAF with 2 intrusion attempts. Muridke and Bhawalpur sector. They sent large strike packages their and when PAF engaged their assets to these sectors they intruded into kashmir sector. What is worrisome it exposed a big flaw in PAF strategy that it can not handle Multi sector intrusion simultaneously. Despite being on a high alert state.

There was a big difference between 26 feb attack of IAF & on 27 feb response of PAF... No one was expecting IAF will intrude & drop bomb like they did on 26 feb... What PAF did was to Bomb them back very next day and that too informing them in advance.. There all assets were ready but our guys did brilliant job on that day..

That I concur. Hence I said, IAF and PAF both needs to introspect. Because both exposed and exploited each other flaws and psyches perfectly.

Actually PAF did anticipate IAF can pull something like this. Hence they were on a high alert status.

PAF engaged Indian side from within Pakistan airspace and lure IAF inside Pakistan to engage their fighter jets. That exposed IAF critical flaws, that their pride hath a fall and they need to be more shrewd than they let on despite being on a high alert status.

Mirage-2000 and SU-30. Strike Package is same. Since Kargil war, the strike package remains similar. in 2008, they send the similar strike package to struck muridke
