Uttam isn't codeveloped. It'll get an aesa but from abroad.


Anyway, this order is nothing new. It was in the pipeline. And it's HALs project not ada-drdo.

The load capacity should be 5T+ once its ready.

The ferry range is a little over 2500Km. That's 3 hours of flight time.

What about the engine IAF purchase 20(IOC)+20(FOC)+83(MKA) Which mean all come with GE-F404.
What about 99 F414 engine which India already order in 2010.

Unit cost will be upwards of $40million per aircraft.

The old details of 30 to 35 million won’t be realistic. Secondly the whole contract price includes other components/services.
