IAF chief reviews issues pertaining to operational needs in Northeast

Air Force chief NAK Browne reviewed various issues and aspects pertaining to operational needs in Northeast during a two-day commander’s conference of Eastern Air Command, which begins here today, IAF officials said.

Browne updated the Station Commanders on the security scenario with special reference to implications in the North Eastern Region and stated that IAF is on a high growth path and is on the process of acquiring multi-spectral strategic capabilities, they said.

He also awarded Air Force Station Chabua with the ‘Pride of EAC’ Trophy for its best overall performance and Singharsi station ‘Best Non-Flying Station’.

Meanwhile, Kiran Browne, President Air Force Wives Welfare Association (AFWWA) presided over AFWWA Meeting (Sanginis’ Meeting) at Meghalaya Hall.

How about you first take some of the resources from the unwanted obsessive piling from your eastern border and put it on your western border ie AF-Pak border where it's much needed?

I've heard Paksitanis go on about IAF SQDs and IA divisions and their depyment I jut don't understand why you guys are obsessed by this? India deploys her assets based on threat perception- Pakistan has started 4 wars with India and has been wging a proxy war for decades now so obviously India will see Paksitan as the biggest threat to them and will deploy assets accordingly.

Why should we attack when you are busy killing each other.Overall the decision not to attack Pakistan turned out to be a good decision in the long term.Out of the 10 Pakistani terrorists we killed 9 on the spot and recently hanged Kasab after proper course.It's discussed millions of times but you start it again.

Why waste the time and resources when Talibunnies/US/Afgans are doing the same with Pakistanis with even better effect.Our Army can sit and watch the show
