I want to visit pakistan

thats a backpackers budget.. I doubt pakistan is on hippy trail anymore... lol.
how much have you travelled in India? Can you speak much urdu/hindi?

I haven't visited much in India but I always have had this dream to visit countries like Pakistan (because of ivc),Iran (aryans),Greece and Egypt..Pakistan is the closest and cheapest to visit to..so I want to visit Pakistan...I roamed around south quite a bit.. but never visited any north Indian city..I am.not even interested .

I would advice you to visit delhi/agra/jaipur first, you will get a glimpse of what to expect and how to travel in north india/pakistan.
If you had tonnes of money communication wont be a problem because everything will be taken care of. if you travel by cheapest mean, eat local food, you need to be street smart and know how to communicate in local language. Else you will need to be rescued, and will be a burden on good natured people trying to help you.

Egypt/iran will be easier than pakistan for you.

I want to visit Pakistan..I want to see places like harappa and mohenjedaro (My ancestors place ),gilgit,kpk,beautiful mountains and meadows..I also want to experience the culture there and taste different kinds of non veg food...if I have INR 20,000 in my hand, I suppose I can spend a week there.but what is the procedure I have to go through?

they guy is from south India,state called Andhra Pradesh, a place known for producing really stupid people.(By stupid I did not mean academically poor, rather they are not really streetsmart, will be like fish out of water in North India).
I will add 25% overhead to total cost for being stupid and not knowing language. Remember, all of his travel till now is within familier south India, that too probably in group, not solo traveller.
If he was from delhi, mumbai or even old city hyderabad, he would stand better chance.

We dont want edhi saab being burdened again, do we.

each district might have something unique, thats not the point.
Solo budget traveller need to be street smart, quick thinker, have presense of mind, knows who to trust in a sea of strangers etc. You are probably going to take train route. Have you ever done any solo travelling within India?
