Look at this way, from the perspective of many people in the world (who arent Muslim) who embrace free speech and allow criticism of anything that is a choice.
Why should I restrain my free speech incase I offend people who believe some arab in the desert 1500 years ago riding around on his horse claimed he spoke to "god".
I respect free speech and its not even about the free speech with me, me personally, I wont outright attack a person based on their religion as I have respect for people but I can criticise parts of it or more importantly the great human ability to question, I wont say oh your a fucking idiot believing in that etc but I can say do you really abide by so and so, dont you think that doing so and so is wrong.
If people draw HIndu gods then Hindus are offended the same way I would be if someone offended a family member but to think of killing someone for that reason would surely be insane. There is plenty of condemnation and I dont know any muslims who agree with the recent attacks but none of them are disagreeing with talking bad about THEIR prophet if anything some of them are playing the victim. The prophet means nothing to me so why should I watch what I say, im born godless like every single animal on this planet, you make a choice to join a religion, in Islams case thats true in about 1% of its members, 99% have no say and are born into it.
