I am impressed you are sacrificed everything and very brave. Have you got job there? I lived in KHI last year, yes it is good feeling to be home, however, I was not happy some electricitries loadshedding, waters, bad roads, stupid governments, negative media, violences, intolerances society, lawless, killing religions fun, sold out, and many things. Too many headaches.

I had investment there but some corrupt clowns stole it. It doesn't look much different from 20 years ago, still same. I know some of them want to leave Pakistan for better country and you see many of them seeking money and sold out............I asked myself, is this real Pakistan ?? What happen if someone shot your wife or children?

My point is if Pakistan in 1970s start strong economic reform early like China, no doubt they will become very strong wealthy country today.

When I was thrilled return back to Canada with fresh air, neat environments and stable, I feel like heaven and peaceful! If the West declines, I might move to China, lol.

I'm not thrilled with the idea of working 9-5 jobs so I didn't apply anywhere really. All I did in Karachi was party, explore Karachi and write a few screenplays. I went to Pakistan to direct feature films but its mad hard to enter the industry at this time, especially for a newcomer like me.

Load shedding, intolerance and violence are the three deep problems within Pakistan. I encountered only load shedding but I know the other 2 are deeply cemented in Pakistani society.
Corruption is there too but I don't think corruption can stop one from being successful in Pakistan. Malik Riaz made a billion dollar empire from real estate in Pakistan. The examples are endless.

And yeah Canada is a great place. Apart from the cold winters its an amazing place. Especially when it comes to the great variety of women .

No, dude. Many people from have gone back and many people want to go back. Including me. But yeah I do agree many will say hell no, out of frustration, our number of things.

my only problems are 2

1. Law and Order ( Police is currput ) if it gets some better that would do
2. Loadshedding since cant start any work

I think the police corruption and incompetence in Pakistan is on top of every Pakistani's **** list. A good police force can help the country and it's economy in number of ways. I've heard many stories from expats who were wronged, went to the police to seek justice and were ridiculed out of the police station. That creats frustration among people and they want to leave the country. I want to help with that so much and I can help but dont know where to start.

Lol, maybe you take some courses in Karachi films college and get certificates to the films' job opportunities, I tell you right now it is very hard day in Pakistan as well as Canada due to economy. Nothing else people do, many layoff here and similar problems except loadshedding.

I don't know how to start to get rid of this deep problems, nobody is interested to fix it anymore. Everything turn to become violencs and bloodshed. Government is in stupid argument and backstabbing each other for so long we witnessed last sixty five years. Today this country make us alot of disappoinments, in my sense, alot of cancer disease still alive in the deep problems. Chaloo koi baat nahein, we will see it soon change.

Lol, that's true- winters (sometimes I hate), variety of girls, multi-cultures and respect society unlike south.

Yes, I love Pakistan very much bohat pyaar, lol and I always talk about Pakistan alot. That's why I am here in forum.

I like Pakistan to become progressing and fast rich developing country with great reputation. That's all we want to see.

Hi,

Don't burn your bridges---and keep all the options open----even thought you were born there---but if you have spent all your adult life out of china---it is not an easy adjustment----for you and for them as well-----. So, beware and be ready for anything untoward happening.

Being mentally ready for the unforeseen will might make the adjustment easier.

Hi guys I am going back to China tomorrow, even though I was born and raised there but since I have been here for so long I am actually a bit nervous and scared going back, even though I visit China often

Now I use to the slow paced and 'framed' life in the UK, and China to me is uncertain and unfamiliar. I have no idea what kind of musics are in, what TV dramas they watching, what topics they talking in public and with friends etc`and most importantly what kind of 'business language' they are using since I moved almost all of our business activities back to China.



Hopefully while in China I can finally have a chance (if i have the spare time) to visit CAC or SAC to take some awesome pictures of J-20 or J-2X, or visit those shipyards to see those new navy toys`

Be careful when you speak in China. Everyone is watching you.

Oh bhai nahi aana to nahi aao. Koi Pakistan khatam to nahi ho jaye ga agar tum nahi aao gai. Pehlai hi is mulk ki abadi 18 crore ho gayi hai. Tumharai aanai sai abadi hi barhai gi. Wahin raho jahan ho aur kabhi yahan nahi aana.

Ah, I can remember how I felt when I returned back to India couple of months ago after staying abroad for 7+ years. When I came out of the airport, I was bit overwhelmed by the amount of people around me. I kind of forgot how it was like in India. It took me a week to adjust to sounds, smells and the traffic. But I am happy to report that I am doing well in my home country busy with the proceedings of my business.
