Hundreds of Chinese and Bangladeshi labourers in deadly clashes at Beijing-backed power plant near D

Your link shows a person of Chinese origin, it never says China or its govt. In your post you claimed "CHINA" has become east India company.

My point here is, we should look every individual as an individual, and not started painting entire country or it's ppl as such. On our part we too have many bad apples in our society.

Further more it is the job of govt of Pakistan to enforce rules and laws for any business group operating in Pakistan. We have tons of Chinese groups in US, never had any issues.
All I can say is this: what an idiotic post.

Ever heard of CETC? Ripped millions off the Pakistani Govt in a PSDP, lies and deception were the order of the day.

Chinese nationals running crime rings in Pakistan, chinese nationals not respecting local laws and people.

And lastly, you are comparing US to Pakistan?

Do you you treat all your guests the same way when they come to your house?

Btw, respect is gained not bought. It's seems like you're getting the concept all mixed up.
do the guests in you country beat up hosts and treat them like shit?

Btw, respect is gained not bought. It's seems like you're getting the concept all mixed up.
Looks like the people your govt is sending over here are all criminals.

If the guest is rough, people will revolt. If I come to your house and you treat me like shit, I'll pick a fight with you and beat you up in your own house. Simple as that. Respect is gained not bought.
You want to hear another real story about a Pakistani student in China? They commit many crimes but does the Chinese complain?
Once a guy from Pakistan borrowed money from me and ran away to Pakistan. Till date he didn't pay back. There are many stories like this, but did I once bring it up on this forum? I didn't bring it up not because this is a Pakistani forum, but because I understand there are bad apples everywhere.

No, but you may be an idiot. I never said I would be ok that some foreigners come to my country and do something disrepectful in my eyes. I only said this is not avoidable or you'd better live in a cocoon. Nobody will truly respect you though he may say so. Respect is earned and expecting that from a stranger is just naive.

Clearly you are an idiot because not only are you emotionally retarded like most Mainland Chinese but you have horrible communication skills.

By saying that it is the host that needs to be more sensitive when they get assholes as visitors, you are putting the responsibility on the host to be tolerant of jerks like yourself. When it is actually the visitor who are visiting another country that is not their own, who should be sensitive to not offend their hosts.

When you are invited to someone's house, do you think it is acceptable to raid their fridge for food or wear shoes into their bedroom? You are a fucking idiot.

Firstly you don't need show me your house manners here. Learn to face difference of opinion. We not falling for indian and western propaganda aimed at breaking decades long relationship between Pakistan and China, shouldn't give a mirchi to you. You have absolute right of falling for those propaganda.

Secondly, did you even comprehend my post at all? You accused China of doing something which some of it's citizens are responsible for. How abt if in west due to few Pakistanis, the people start painting entire Pakistani groups of those ill acts?

And yes I compared Pakistan with US on enforcement of laws for foreign business groups.

.
come to Pakistan, go to any Chinese run facility, you will have your proofs.

A small example:
https://tribune.com.pk/story/1978232/1-chinese-man-arrested-pushing-worker-furnace/

Puh-lease. Like Oscar said in another thread, friends, not masters. behave like masters and people will hit back.

China needs to keep its criminals in Chinese prisons, they are exporting hordes of criminals to work on their projects:

https://www.dawn.com/news/1399531
That is exactly what we see here in southern africa; they are bringing in gang labours from their prisons.

. .
these workers are destroying china's soft power image . people early think Chinese are good kind honest people .

China definitely has an image problem when it comes to badly behaved, loud, obnoxious, thug workers. Entitled brats who think they can do what they want. Really feel sorry for the people who have to put up with them.

China needs to educate their people on the customs and traditions of their host country's. Otherwise this is going to fall faster then it went up.

They developed China but forgot its people.

US is in a league of its own, and that is why it is a Super Power because US knows how to deal with countless cultures, peoples and religions. Whereas on the other hand, China don't even come close and that is why there is conflict where the Chinese go because they have ZERO EXPERIENCE of dealing with other nationalities and cultures.
By "dealing with other countries" and "integration" are you perhaps referring to showering local and foreign terrorists and militants with money and weapons to wreck havoc in the country, bombing their cities and citizens, murdering hundredthousands natives in the process and installing puppet regimes in one country after another, if you are not "just" trying to economcially starve them out of existence? Or are you referring more to the whole enslaving and genociding natives and throwing whole ethnic groups into internment camps just a generation or two ago, part?

I agree either way... China doesn't come close to that and that's exactly one of the many reasons why the U.S. regimes mouthpieces are so desperately spinning and blowing any minor incident, anecdote and rumor involving China out of proportion and pushing this projecting narrative about China.

Well thanks for twisting my post and trying to mislead others. Just shows that you have a small mind incapable of comprehending what i said. And if this is type of mentality the Chinese Government has, then the Chinese downfall will be a very quick one - all this talk of China Superpower is a wet dream unfortunately. I will leave it at this cause there is no point in wasting time on people who do not want to Listen.

Although you are Indian and I am Chinese, I agree you have a point. There are some historical reasons for Chinese culture because of isolationism. There are pros and cons for neighboring countries. China don't like interference in other countries' internal affairs. Give neighboring countries quite a lot of freedom. Uncle Sam won't do that.

Things are changing fast, the young Chinese born after 90s, are quite different from traditional Chinese. They are quite open minded, communication and hospitable.

China was isolated by both camps during cold war, it strengthened Chinese insecurity and China prefer self-reliance. The psychological impacts on those elders who experienced cold war will last decades.

Regarding culture, I think Americans are well known for arrogance. I think most Chinese are humble relatively.

Those labors sent overseas are hardworking family guy. They just want to bring money home for parents and family.

Conflicts is quite normal, it happens anywhere. The propaganda is exaggerating.

We can play it down all we want. And try to sweep it under the rug like it is done sometimes in China. The life of a Bangladeshi worker is as sacred (if not more) than anyone else's life anywhere.

One must realize every country has worker laws, including in Bangladesh - and they are understandably, quite strict. You cannot abuse local workers' rights accorded by local law, whether you are a Chinese or US employer.

There was allegation that the worker was kicked in the guts and he died. This is criminal manslaughter. Bangladeshi workers were very agitated because of this, and the management tried to hide the body. This lead to widespread rioting and unrest at the site. Unlike China - if people want to protest a criminal incident, we cannot mow them down with machine guns. Then control the media to hide the news like it never happened.

There will be an investigation. and there will be prosecution and lifetime jail in Bangladesh at minimum (if not hanging), if intentional manslaughter is proven. We will await the rule of law and criminal manslaughter prosecution to take its course.

There will be very large fines leveled against the Chinese contractor (employer of the accused) as compensation for medical expenses and burial costs.

To avoid this type of situation in the future - Chinese companies working abroad must clue their workers in to the labor laws and cultural sensitization to each country they work in. Americans and Europeans understand this very well, but China being a newly industrialized country has issues in training their semi-educated workers. The sooner Chinese companies do this, the better it is.

Chinese people who are 40, maybe even 35 and above are pretty uneducated. They are the ones foreigners usually complain about as tourists and they have zero self awareness. The younger generations, especially 20-25 are a lot more educated and learn to act more politely when they go overseas. They grew up in a much wealthier country and probably act more like the Japanese than the older generations of Chinese.

Overall, Chinese people are pretty clueless when it comes to interacting with foreign people though because they come from a very homogeneous society. You can pretty much see it on this board with the awkward communication skills of the Mainland Chinese here, whether it is defending the Uighur detention camps or when they turn every issue into a bashing of India regardless of whether it has to do with India or anything Indians have said, or even when they express their friendship to Pakistanis, it all comes out very awkward and unnatural. They have zero awareness and understanding to really relate to foreigners in a natural way.

I don't know what really happened to cause the conflict, it might have been just as much the fault of the Bangladeshi, but China should really stop sending huge amounts of its workers overseas.

Please see my post above.

Lol, talk about inflated ego. I do sincerly hope you are just coping and the layer of sarcasm you call a "twist" didn't fly entirely over your head though.

But yeah go run away crying right after your pretentious bullshit was called out. That's much easier than "listening" and "dealing" with it. Couldn't be a more perfect end to your farce and making it any easier for me.

Please see my post above.

I agree most of your points. The rest I disagree is not important. I agree it has to be managed properly.

Do you think if there is any possibility someone trying to mess up this project? I knew India is unhappy, US is unhappy. They are trying hard to stop the collaboration between Bangladesh and China.

I have seen too many dirty tricks going on against BRI, including propaganda and NGOs.

The project in Sri Lanka was bogged down by NGOs backed by India and US.

Well I doubt India is trying to mess up the Payra Powerplant project because they are partners in the Port of Payra Project as well. You can study Bangladeshi media and news sites to see what is going on.

I think it was a case of simple rage and stupidity for the Chinese supervisor and the wrong situation at the wrong time for the Bangladeshi worker who died.
