You do know GCC pays for their participation in Syria right? Story from Bosnia goes that 15.000€ per combatant is wired to his family when he leaves. Now, when Saudis stop the funding how much motivation you think they'll still have?

I am merely highlighting the ridiculous task Western governments face in managing home grown terrorist threats given security agencies are held to a higher standard than the terrorists themselves, who in turn cynically exploit the system. This anomaly is perfectly illustrated by the cases of MB and BM. Despite a considerable body of incriminating evidence (please refer to Ali Soufan's memoirs for more details), both were acquitted by the tribunal at Gitmo based on the argument that the said evidence might have obtained under duress (although AS flatly denies this) from AQ operatives rendered to Yemen,Morocco etc,as well as lapses in handling of the evidence from the point of interrogation to when it was presented in court. Despite the fact that their involvement in terrorism was never in doubt and their acquittals secured largely on technical grounds, both continue to lead comfortable lives on state benefits back in the UK.

The situation is likely to be no different when this latest crop of Jihadis seek to return to their host countries in the West. Any decision to strip them of citizenship acquired through birth would easily be challenged on human rights grounds and there is little prospect of security agencies being able to obtain court admissible evidence of offences committed abroad against these individuals whilst they remain at large.

However as 'non state actors'involved in a violent insurgency on foreign soil, these individuals have essentially released their nations of origin of any obligation to adhere by rules of engagement or the Geneva Convention and it is therefore perfectly reasonable for security agencies to use every means at their disposal to hunt down and liquidate these Jihadis whilst they continue to fight abroad.

Should they eventually return to the West,I feel these guys are likely to go about their work independently to evade detection,as per the recommendations of the official AQ mouthpiece Inspire ( I could post a link to the online version but I suspect it may be regarded as glorifying terrorism or somesuch)

As far as possible motives are concerned, recent well publicised British cases in Syria have involved young people from reasonably affluent backgrounds, including a junior doctor-hardly the types who would endanger their lives for a few grand from the Saudis. In my view, a more plausible explanation is to be found in the works of likes of Syed Qutb who, for instance in his ideological tafsir 'In the shadows of the Koran', presents very persuasive agruments in favour of jihad against the near enemy (buttressed in recent years by various Gulf regimes to counter the growing influence of Binladenism) that in many ways provide the ideological underpinnings for the ongoing Islamist resurgence in the Middle East.

They don't get training in UK. They are just radical Muslims who want to go for Jihad in Syria just like it used to happen in Afghan war when people came from different countries.

Basic training and weapons are given to them there.

First read more about this conflict, check all the facts, understand how intelligence agencies works, how data is collected, how number of Jihadists are measured, understand how they radical or extremist ideologist can spread when they return back, understand the dynamics, when you have all the experience then talk to me.

My work has been in this direction for quite a some time and I have presented my works to many well respected people in this area of research.

I will consider published work, various research work in this field by very reputed people way above what you think.
