Human Capital Report 2017 - BD did great!

Something that will never ever happen in backward and super corrupt (and stagnant corrupt) BD:

or this:

I mean the BD economic illiterate is blah blahing here now with cherry picked articles, just like he cherry picked the human capital report (which now blew back on his face big time)....just like his current round of cherry picking. Look at this cherry picking + denial here for more instances of his utter failure:

https://defence.pk/pdf/threads/rang...starts-its-journey.519859/page-3#post-9900726

Is such an incompetent person capable of any analysis regarding GST and demonetisation? Then let him post it here so everyone (and not just fellow low IQ BD ppl) can see him get taken apart:

https://defence.pk/pdf/threads/i-ne...for-a-hard-landing.520248/page-2#post-9900505

He has any credibility left when the envelope of his salivation is closing a lot faster than it did with the Human Capital Report?:

Honestly competing with a malnourished LDC-er echo chamber dream groupthink is not worth it. They also seem to love wanting people to read the first post of this thread....haha....I don't even have to bump it now.

Excellent, it will keep this thread as top search result in google for "Human capital report 2017". Hopefully it does its job well beyond thrashing the BeeDees here by keeping more investment away (what little they receive) from their grubby ingrate echo chamber hands.

You can't provide any good jobs so they come here to whore themselves:

Enjoy this forum conversation on it :P :

Bangladeshis flock to India for medical reasons, not for buying any organs (which is like several times their lifetime salary) but for basic medical check ups even....because BD is a LDC (they are right to not trust a LDC doctor and hospital whatever the LDC babus claim in their "data"). They also do this knowing their very same people get murdered daily by BSF at the border. This is the nature of your people.....you will be used and abused by everyone else for eternity....just look at your kind in say Singapore lol. Cannon fodder of 1971....now all kinds of other fodder....SHW will add to this list again next year to stay in power ;)
As I mentioned before already human trafficking in India is high. This girls are forced into doing these acts.
Trust issue with LDC doctors? So what are Indian doctors?Super-duper doctors from Havard or Cambridge?
A large supply of human organs are the reason for Bangladeshis to visit India.
We will be used and abused by everyone.Well both China and Pakistan have been f**king India for decades from two "ends".
Speaking of my kind in SG.You still did not answer my question on what my fellow Singaporeans call us.
Singaporean often mistake bangladeshi for indians.
They call you indians smelly not us.
You Indians are the one that caused Little India riot.
Kind of sad to see you guys to roam around so freely.

.
Again have to see how it actually materialises. China for example is still exporting 3 -figure billions in RMG + textiles still (past what they internally consume)...they will look to be keeping as much as they can employment wise in the sector too given the redundancies faced elsewhere. I dont think its guaranteed smooth sailing for BD at all....it may be more of "here is some more access/quota we give you in order to help finance and account for the much larger amounts you import/loan from us". Not really a sound sustainable model for BD to grow long term (since its just financing/expansion of a CAD with much larger country)...your own base capability has to qualitatively improve and compete across the board internationally (doing that means it will immediately have multiplier effect domestically too).

I mean last time I looked at the net capital goods import of BD from China for textiles, the figures did not impress at all if the earlier claim of "capital transfer" to BD from China is to be believed (and BD taking a bigger slice of China RMG export).

China's textiles exports have gone down from 173 billion US dollars in 2014 to 148 billion US dollars in 2016. As you can see the country is fast declining in textiles. There is no way that China will be able to keep anything but a niche segment of it's textile industry by 2025 as then it would become a developed country, albeit one at the lowest rung. It's textile exports will be in the low tens of billions of US dollars by then and it would not even make sense for it to supply most it's domestic demand as that can be imported much more cheaply from countries like BD.

.
Trust issue with LDC doctors? So what are Indian doctors?Super-duper doctors from Havard or Cambridge?

Ask the 1 million BD visitors each year. Ask @Mohammed Khaled about the BD attitude to their "doctors" yourself :D

A large supply of human organs are the reason for Bangladeshis to visit India.

You are saying there is demand requirement of 1 million per year in BD for organs? What are you doing there that needs that lol. Silly fool like you doesn't even look up your own country statistics as to the main reasons for BD medical tourism to India....vast majority of it is simple routine stuff BD should be doing itself....but BD people simply do not trust other BD people with their lives. Just look how your country was created (twice in just 20th century), they have clear reason for this attitude. ;)

We will be used and abused by everyone.

Yes you will....and you already are and already have.

Speaking of my kind in SG.You still did not answer my question on what my fellow Singaporeans call us.

You obviously live in some cocoon if you even live in Singapore to begin with. Just go to a food stall in heartland and announce you are Bangladeshi (rather than trying to pass off as Indian). You will get some nice commentary and names right away for starters (seeing what Singapore deported back to BD and now people know what BD is in the first place as result of that). Then make sure to claim you are not a construction worker riffraff...more names will come your way :D

They call you indians smelly not us.

They mean to call Bangladeshis as such actually (construction labourers who take no showers and practice any hygiene)....but resident Indians get lumped in with you lot as result sometimes, because who really knows what a Bangladeshi is :D

Have you even smelled what the typical Bangladeshi labourer in Singapore smells like? My own BD friend told me what the plane from Dhaka to Singapore smells like...."straight out of the paddy fields" was just the beginning :D 99% of Bangladeshis in Singapore fit into this category. Look up Singapore own guest worker data.

What are BD people to Singapore?

BANGLA WORKER: S'POREANS NEVER TREAT US AS HUMANS, I AM NOW JUST A ROBOT

Can u tell me we r dirty. Than how about china worker???????????? When after finish work they go home, if any body have time just see. I Bangladeshi worker more than clean from them. Can u all talk our body color no same. But how when any Indian man site down??????????

I working Singapore 7 years plus. Maybe around 5 or 6 years I no go home. I continue working. Sometimes I go very far like kalang to clementi or jorong east. I never sit down u know. I just standing. Because I scared.

If I sit down than any Singaporean don't want to sit. Never mind I can except anything. Because we come here to working mah. I thinking I m now not human ready. I m just like robot.

So yeah you BDs are something else all together in the pecking order by your own admission.

You Indians are the one that caused Little India riot.

http://www.reuters.com/article/us-s...-plotted-attacks-says-singapore-idUSKCN0XV0KK

Lets brand all Bangladeshis as like the ones that got deported back to BD for you know what (and looking like you know who too)...i.e terrorism plotters....oh wait Singaporeans already do that (if its a smelly bearded individual that is brown, its a BeeDee guaranteed), hence why BD workers are now treated even more badly and intrusively than before (even if they have no beards and keep just the fermented paddy smell)....but of course still lot better than in M.E so they keep wanting more of the same....you have no basic honour and self-respect ;) ....any people that claim 3 million genocide to try get tears that aren't their own (and severely diminish any semblance of own strength and respect) are inherently this way and will remain so. This is precisely why you end up standing out from other Desis (when ppl dont know enough to go by appearance/language), you have extra bad inherent inferiority waah waah complex....as seen in Singapore and elsewhere.

He and his compatriots do not dare to don their traditional Bangladeshi tunics.

Some, says S-pass holder M. Jahangir Alam Babu, 42, have even shaved off their beards - normally a symbol of religious piety for Bangladeshi men.

It is because they are afraid of being accused as terrorists, especially in recent weeks.

On the traditional Punjabi suits and the topi cap, Mr Jahangir says: "Yeah, nowadays if you are wearing like this, people can say you are a terrorist.

"It is a bad feeling to be accused. I feel ashamed because (the deeds) of a few others made everyone suffer."

Last month, eight radicalised Bangladeshi workers were detained by the authorities for setting up an Islamic State of Bangladesh cell here.

Five others were deported back to Bangladesh for possessing jihad-related materials or supporting the group's activities.

Late last year, 27 Bangladeshi construction workers were also arrested and deported for having terrorist links and possessing terrorist-related propaganda.

Mr Jahangir believes there is little he can do to change people's perception of his community, but hopes Singapore remains open to hiring them.

Barely two days after news of the recent arrests broke, Mr Jahangir and his Bangladeshi peers were jeered at by migrant workers of other nationalities.

At his workplace, where he is a site engineer, he tells TNPS that many of his colleagues have been making fun of them during meal times.

"Some persons in my company say, 'Wah, now you all Bangladeshi, so many terrorists'," he recalls, adding that the tone used was derisive.

All three companies are reportedly managed by a Bangladeshi permanent resident.

Now even you BD "elite" are truly getting along with the rest on how to treat the BD paddy masses. Hypocrites.

https://comtrade.un.org/data/

Well earlier you were claiming BD exports was increasing 30% a year to China. I checked at comtrade, nothing of the sort is happening:

BD exports to China:

2012: 480M
2013: 602M
2014: 760M
2015: 816M
2016: 870M

4 year running average growth: 16%
3 year running average growth: 13%
2 year running average growth: 7%
1 year running average growth: 6.6% (notice the trend?)

You seriously believe you are going to reach 3 billion (as low as that is to begin with) exports to China in 2021 on the back of this (current growth of 6.6% and declining)? Even with 10% steady growth hear on out, that number will be more like 1.4 billion USD and will be less than 1 billion USD if average export growth per year continues to slip at this rate...and who knows how much imports (largely not capital goods, i.e captive long term production either) from China will be at that stage

Combined with the lacking performance of capital goods import for RMG more specifically:

https://defence.pk/pdf/threads/capital-machinery-import-surges-37-last-fiscal.511312/#post-9748869

I seriously doubt any massive capture of Chinese domestic market is happening for BD. Chinese RMG export decrease is largely being captured by other countries like Vietnam as well, not BD.

But like I said we can wait for both this calendar and fiscal year to finish and see where it stands in the backdrop of the data we have this far recently (which is not looking promising for BD)...rather than using cpl months data and extrapolating as some guaranteed rebound....be it for overall exports or exports to China etc.

You need to research a bit more about BD-China trade relations before writing.

China allowed duty free access to nearly 5,000 BD products in 2010. This was the year from when BD exports to China took off in a spectacular way.

Let us see what the exports have been in 2010 and since then from BD to China in millions of US dollars:

2010: 179
2011: 320 + 79%
2012: 402 + 26%
2013: 458 + 14%
2014: 746 + 63%
2015: 808 + 8%
2016: 949 + 17%

Where is this decreasing trend dude as in last fiscal it went up by nearly 20%?

If you average this out, then it is 30% every year since China gave BD duty free access for nearly 5,000 products.

As China becomes more and more uncompetive in textiles(natural consequence of joining the developed world next decade), then expect many billions of those lost exports to go to BD and even China's own consumers will be buying garments made in BD. Remember for the kind of products that BD wants to sell in China, there are more consumers there than in the whole of the West combined. It will cost China nothing to allow many billions of BD garment exports into their country in a few years.

So you see how BD will benefit immensely from China. Not only will China become the next 1 billion US dollar export destination this fiscal, it has already given ToT on ships and manpads to BD and this will only accelerate as BD has stated that it is building a next gen frigate with Chinese assistance. The first 6.8 billion US dollars out of the 24 billion dollars promised loans from 2016 has been approved and just waiting the official signing before year end.

Sorry but your doom and gloom scenario for BD just does not hold any scrutiny when actual data and facts are out on the table.

. .
Point is we are improving and you are worsening in the ranks (I mean why not improve if you are so badly ranked).....combined with BD scrawny ugly morons like Bilal9 trumpetting BD ranking better by one rank than India last couple years (and rank = be all end all to any human capital debate). Its good karma. Just like the stagnant corruption and institution indices.

Expect to see this solidifying in HDI too (BD starting to really stagnate there too). Combined with BD soon losing its LDC quotas (on back of already diminishing exports and stagnant foreign investment) and more of its people being forced to return to BD and ensuing accelerating political violence (as SHW rigs more and more to ensure BAL stays)....BD is going to be cooked very nicely in coming years.

Please edit out or change the worst bits (marked in red above).

No one brings the devil out in a person like an Indian

@Cookie Monster

I found another.

India might not be a super power, but Nilgiri has super power.

He can write a lot....brilliant man!

And some of the time, it is accurate. It's the spotting which drives one crazy.

It's already down to 30% non-ODF right now. Problem with BD is because you lie and cover up, we don't even know what it was before or what it is now...so you don't know what fruits of "working on ours" actually are....because on paper its all magically gone lol. Then the massive reality check comes when say The Economist rates Dhaka next to warzones in liveability.

This dissonance is now your country's eternal reality. Hey maybe you lot prefer it that way.

Yeah you shut me up real good lol (but hey its a personal BD definition...we all know how good those are long term heh) . Just look at the likes 1st post got...I'll keep bumping the thread up when needed to ensure more and more visitors to this subforum fundamentally understand what most of the BD posters are like. Takes like a second of my time and generates multitudes more of reality/butthurt. Some "humiliation" indeed....I would be doing that if I felt so? Use some logic buddy, what little the delta cesspool gave you. The real humiliation is what a big time posting BD member here loudly proclaimed and the reality check on it....how you lot want to add to that past it is up to you...most people generally taper off after reading the 1st few posts and replies.

One more to edit?

Cry me a river. :P Here's a reality check: no one cares. The fact you let an online forum dictate your real life response tells everyone enough about you (and several other BD members) to begin with....arrogant and sensitive....bad combination.

It's the same reason I do not trust any number coming out of Bangladesh inherently. It has to be reported and standarised by 3rd party.

"Marine sector" lol. Did you read the links already posted? Or you want me to post Singapore data (on the employment patterns and wages of the roughly 100,000 BD guestworkers + how little BD people make PR and citizenship...and now those workers barely making ends meet after paying their job agents and loans) to make you run away like here when you boasted about BeeDees flooding MIT?:

Lets get some introduction to BD's in Singapore:

http://www.straitstimes.com/singapo...adeshi-workers-as-they-go-home-with-big-debts

Have things changed much for the 99% BDs in Singapore over last cpl decades? You tell me:

http://factsanddetails.com/southeast-asia/Singapore/sub5_7c/entry-3785.html

A typical Bangladeshi construction worker in the early 2000s fitted sewage pipes in buildings and slept on a straw mat in a container at the site where he worked—and was content doing that. He made his own meals and ate them with other Bangladeshis. That way he could live on about $110 a month and send most of his $450 a month salary back to his family in Dhaka.

From 2014:

http://twc2.org.sg/2014/11/02/singa...-destination-for-bangladeshi-workers-in-2013/

The divergence between 14.02% of persons choosing to come to Singapore and only 3.5% of remittances coming from Singapore hints at two possible explanations:

1. Bangladeshi workers in other countries stay much longer on average; their numbers there are much larger than annual movements. To put it in another way, churn is particularly bad in Singapore.

2. Bangladeshi workers in Singapore are relatively poorly-paid, or have much less money (after local expenses) to send back home.

These are areas that cry out for research, but provisionally, if we divide S$644 million by the estimated 130,000 Bangladeshi workers in Singapore, this indicates that the average worker remits $4,934 per year to his family, or about $413 a month. Based on what we know of salaries among Bangladeshi workers, TWC2 considers this a credible figure.

And look at what you Indians did in Little India bunch of animals.

Yet there is strong and lasting overall Indian presence in Singapore (what is one of the official languages again?)...integrated too, earning more than Chinese majority (I can put those figures here too).....and I can post their wage and employment patterns (they certainly are not 99% unskilled cheap cement mixing and pouring + sewage cleaning+fitters type like BeeDees) What have Bangladesh exactly contributed again other than cheap use+abuse, more and more debt-ridden throwaway labour and assortment of terrorist types scouting and planning who and what to attack in Singapore and back home? Talking of "riots".... you know what the actual racial riots were like back in the day in Singapore and their scale? Does it have long term massive impact on Singapore community's and development compared to what they think immediately and viscerally of cheap Bangladeshi today (as I already posted as said by the BD workers themselves)? Stop trying to play equal equal here, you are overall nothing to Singaporeans...hence you have to hide and disguise as Indians whenever you can get away with it.

Your tone suddenly went more crying now....did you follow my advice and go to hawker stall and get dose of reality? :D

I am going by what China reported imported from BD as filed at comtrade. Not some sourceless waffle like you present here.

Here is the link yet again:

It's the same reason I do not trust any number coming out of Bangladesh inherently. It has to be reported and standarised by 3rd party.

Please make similar request here and see to it he does the same (notice the 3 likes too):

I am simply being a mirror of his words....but sure I will remove mine.

EDIT: Cannot remove, apparently you can't edit or even delete posts after certain period of time.

Not what Singaporeans report :P Just read in their forums about Bangladeshi workers...."shower" or no shower....no difference made.

Stop making lies.In SG companies pay their worker well. Its the workers own issue that they take such high amount of loans to their respective agents.
My dad was a supervisor when he came to Singapore 29 years ago, pursed naval engineering and now he is the director of a company.
We employ both Bangladeshi and Indian(tamils) workers.
Most workers earn about 800 dollars and above.$500 is given to their family and they spend the other $300-$400 on food, electricity housing and clothing. All companies have to subsidise 50% for housing, water and electricity.
And again you cannot counter any of my points of how you Indians have stinky smell and of course classic Little India riot.
Continue trying to divert the points I stated:lol:

From the mouth of the Chinese ambassador to BD just recently:

"When asked about the progress of the projects under the agreements signed during the visit of the Chinese president, Ma Mingqiang said most of the projects are progressing well"

"Ma Mingqiang, however, mentioned that while Bangladesh’s exports to other destinations are showing a declining trend, Dhaka’s exports to Beijing is witnessing an increase of 30 per cent"

"He also claimed that Chinese investments in Bangladesh has creased manifold in the last three years, and expressed confidence that China will be the largest investor in Bangladesh in the near future"

Your dreams of rupture in BD-China relations will always remain dreams.

PS - Funny how you think that you know more about BD export performance to China than I do. I have been following the figures closely since China allowed nearly 5,000 products duty free from 2010.

"Stop making lies"....doesnt even look at the link data....and provides no link of his own regarding "well paid BD workers" lol.

No one cares about your fake story either (its certainly not an article or data)....tell us whatever you want to feel better....I just ignored it. The cold hard data on what 99% BD people earn in singapore is quite something else.

Want to know how many BD-origin PR's and citizens there are in Singapore? Even you can count to that number :D The vast percentage are unskilled slave labour for construction sites and cleaning duties (so their smell is not a functional issue for the job ;) )

These large scale riff-raff (worker permit) of 100k - 120k have high attrition are increasingly saddled with debt and earn a pittance to begin with as shown by articles posted already (I can post many more unlike you who have to rely on fake personal stories). But I guess all of that is still way better than what can be found in BD.

https://www.theonlinecitizen.com/20...loitation-among-migrant-workers-in-singapore/

Bangaldeshi construction workers were earning S$17–S$19 a day in the early 1990s. More than 25 years later, in 2017, Bangladeshi construction workers are still receiving similar starting salaries of S$16–S$19 a day. In one case HOME is assisting with, Bangladeshi construction worker, Arif, has been receiving a monthly salary of S$300 for the past five years.

Wage discrimination

Chinese construction workers’ hourly wages are double that of Bangladeshi construction workers, though they are engaged in similar types of work in the same industry. Bangladeshi conservancy workers, meanwhile, are paid half of what resident cleaners are paid, despite working longer hours and being assigned the more strenuous cleaning tasks. These forms of wage discrimination, in which workers of different nationalities and ethnic groups are paid less for equivalent (sometimes more) work appears to be entrenched across industries.

===============================

Then stuff like this happens all the time: http://www.straitstimes.com/singapo...-limbo-over-unpaid-salaries-say-payslips-were

Now lets compare to the Indian-origin Singaporean population:

http://www.singstat.gov.sg/statistics/browse-by-theme/household-income

Average Indian household income in Singapore = 8300 SGD (2010)

Average Chinese household income in Singapore = 8000 SGD (2010)

Even assuming 2 working people in a household, thats around 4k per person per month (7 years ago too). Average wage of a BD riffraff is around 500 - 600 dollars (and as low as 300). You do the math.

Its the same trend we see in the UK, USA, anywhere Bangladeshis go to. Just reply again and I will post those too. You have a sustained human capital deficit (topic of this thread) even among the labour and migrants you export that are supposed to be better than the typical RMG or paddy swamp riffraff.

have stinky smell

Its funny coincidence that Pong and Bong are such similar words

http://www.dictionary.com/browse/pong

Dhaka’s exports to Beijing is witnessing an increase of 30 per cent"

Awwwh cute typical ambassador speak. 30 percent increase over what time period? or which cherry-picked year?....the sentence just ends abruptly....no fair! :p:

Comtrade (actual data) has much ouch for you:

0tSr7s8.jpg

Yes there seems to be a 30% increase from what it was 3 years ago. Oh look ambassador hints at 3 years being the time frame too....of course he doesn't want to insult his guests too much by mentioning it specifically too much:

has creased manifold in the last three years

PS - Funny how you think that you know more about BD export performance to China than I do. I have been following the figures closely since China allowed nearly 5,000 products duty free from 2010.

Yet you didn't know the most simple actual basic data and trend as reported by UN comtrade (member countries reports)

For last reported year the increase in exports to China was from 817M to 869M (as reported by China), good job! Really accelerating by "30% "y.o.y indeed :haha:
