Huawei’s revenue down 29% in 2021, US sanctions to blame

But we see many white people's slaves here, they usually all have had racial discriminations against them personally by whites but some how they vehmently defend and glorify their white masters more than their masters themselves, a clear sigan of terminal stockholm syndrome.
Let's leave aside the bluster and emotion.

In your view a large corporation has seen a shortfall by nearly one third of it's revenue in a single annual year.

Is that not a cause for concern?

It should not be necessary, because this trend has not continued. In 2022, Huawei's turnover not decline further, but rised slightly, and continue to maintain an upward momentum in the first half of 2023.

A company with nearly $100 billion revenue is considered a dying company?
It could be, Evergrande (one of the biggest real estate developers in the world) have $110 billion revenue before they gone bust. Revenue actually means nothing if we are looking at health of a company because it is before cost and tax, and it does not really represent any profits or floating income, which is what dictate business flow.

The thing that worry people is as the article point out revenue dropped 1/3 (or 30%) since operating cost usually stay the same (Because factories and workers and so on remain unchanged even if you are not making money), which mean this may be the beginning of a bigger cash flow problem.

P.S. I know this is a year old post I am replying to, I am just trying to answer the question he raise as no one actually answering them.

Ok that reasonable.

Are their revenue projected to go back to pre sanction levels?

I think it depends on the sales of Huawei phones.
It can be found in Huawei’s annual report from 2017 to 2022,
In addition to consumer business related to mobile phone sales, Huawei's other business revenue has been stable at around 400 billion yuan.
In 2022, Huawei's mobile phone sales is 28 million units, providing an operating income of 200 billion yuan.
In 2023, Huawei's sales target is 40 million units. If it can be achieved, the turnover is estimated to reach 300 billion.
In view of Huawei’s temporary lack of huge growth points in other businesses, whether the revenue can return to the level before the sanction, it will be observed in the near future to what extent Huawei’s mobile phone sales can recover after the MATE60 pro breaks through the 5G chip sanction. .
