White helmets saved tens of thousands of people from the rubble.

The pictures of pulling civilians out of rubble by white helmets on a daily bases , makes Assad and the Russians uncomfortable , as naturally the sympathy of the world is with the bombed civilians and their rescuers.

This is the reason behind the accusations against them. Other than that one would have to be sick to complain against volunteers that risk their lives to save people and rush them into hospital.

I have followed the Libyan and Syrian wars from the beginning in 2011. NATO, in simple terms, wanted to end the socialist systems in both countries.

Most of the SAA's sunni soldiers deserted long ago. Assad has survived because of Russian and Iranian support. Russia supplied air power and Iran recruited Shia militias from all over the world to go fight for Assad.

It's not a Muslim sect. The alawites are an entirely separate religion. Maybe you are Indian hindu and don't understand how Islam works but "progressive" Muslims are basically people who give up Islamic teachings and are normally only Muslim in their name.
