A growing threat is the rapid feeling of alienation among the educated Sindhi youth. There exists a wide wedge between them and the state. The recent Bahria Town fiaso has only exasperated these feelings of alienation. Additional factors are...
1) PPP governance
2) No credible alternative to PPP ( PTI had a chance to capitalize on the Bahria Town incident but it only chose to highlight the violence of the protestors and not the land grab by Malik Riaz)
3) Urdu Media Racism ( Sindhi youth feel strongly about racist depictions in mainstream Urdu Media)
4) Karachi politics ( Sindhi youth feel strongly about voices coming from Karachi demanding a separate province)
5) No visible mainstream representation in the national media, sports teams.
6) Unease about demographic change in Sindh ( previously limited to Urdu Speakers but now increasingly hostile to Pushtun presence in Sindh).
7) Water Shortage ( Many believe Punjab is stealing water from them)

Some of the people who have these concerns believe solving these issues within the federation of Pakistan. However, a Sindhudesh idea, as prepostorous and impractical as it may sound, is also gaining traction.

A lot of these concerns can be dismissed as they lay in falsehoods. Demographic change in a multi-ethnic country like Pakistan is a given especially in the 21st century. However, we need to engage them on other issues to bridge the divide.

a) provide a mainstream alternative to PPP ( Due to its corruption and misgovernance, PPP can longer provide a buffer against Sindhi separatism)

b) Bridge rural/urban divide ( Urdu speakers need to join their voices with educated Sindhis and own Sindh.....expressions of hate against Sindh and Sindhi people will not help any community).

c) Solve water issues ( the only long-term solution is the provision of desalination plants for communities in the Sindh delta).

d) Take a stand against reported forced conversions ( Sindhi youth are more progressive as compared to other ethnic groups when it comes to religious liberties hence a stand by the state of Pakistan against this practise will earn us their trust and goodwill).

In terms of numbers, Sindhis are the third largest ethnic group and not sure we can afford another disaffected group. We have to tackle these issues before they blow up in our face and before they become too complicated.

Other ideas are welcome on this thread.

Just finish provinces that are based on ethnic lines.Ethnic identity is a thing of the past.We all are Muslims and Pakistanis.Punjab and Balochistan should be cut down into smaller administrative parts.
P.S I know this is controversial.

if you are army person then please look at history and see how it blow back

MQM created by whom to counter PPP
Taliban created / supported by whom to counter northern alliance afghanistan
TLP tehreek e labaik created by whom to counter PMLN

May be truth hurt however you need to look into what it resulted in.

Contact with the people of Sindh and Balochistan.
1) Deeper political penetration.
2) PM must move to a rural city in Sindh/ Balochistan, once in a week every month.

South and North sindh and South and North punjab as starters.

When exactly will it dawn upon you guys that Pakistan exists because of its provinces and provinces do not exist because of Pakistan? But then again if you did not learn in 1971 why would you learn now?

Here's the thing. Virtually every Sindhi is a nationalist, including those of us who favour being part of Pakistan. However, when you lay hands on the hardcore nationalists you also risk alienating those who strongly support being part of Pakistan. Make no mistake, when it comes to choosing between Sindh & Pakistan we'll always chose Sindh. We have always opposed the separatist nationalism but that does not mean we'll abandon our nationalists, even if we resent their politics from the bottom of our hearts. My suggestion is simple: hands off. Let us deal with our own people.

He no longer has any credibility in Sindh or amongst Sindhis. I was once a big supporter. I believed in his cause and thought he would be a great alternative to all the scums in and outside of Sindh. But today I and other Sindhis like me who were willing to support him do not view him with friendliness. Imagine, people of Thar refusing to listen to their own murshad SMQ and voting against him. Reason is simple, the PTI & GDA members in Sindh are far worse than PPP members.

1. Karachi province / Federal Entity because of it's Strategic Value being life line Of Pakistan

2. Hyderabad + Badin + Thatta + Jamshoro Districts / Divisions Combined = South Sindh / Hyderabad Province = These have majority Anti - PPP parties / voters / Alliances

3. Remaining North Sindh

Nationalism or any other cause won't have any value if you don't have any money

Money is raised from urban centers like Karachi e.g. SBCA, FBR, Police, other depts and Hyderabad and used to fund these Anti - State / Ethnic politics resulting in buying politicians in the Senate Elections and causing chaos.

If 18 th Amendment gives power to the provinces, then, 19 th or 20 Th Amendment should be introduced to give power to the Cities / Districts, taking power away from the provinces.

A. Computerization of complete labs records of Pakistan ASAP

B. Except Federal employees / or get a Federal Wavier , NO ONE should be allowed to gets transfers in other districts, other than their own districts / domicile origins

Very bad image of Pakistan Re emerged after what happened in Bahria Town Karachi, especially in Overseas Pakistanis, who have become a cautious again in investing in Real Estate in Pakistan.

Economic Hubs of Pakistan should NOT be left to the mercy of Land lords / Waderas who are hardly educated themselves nor are willing to let their own voters progress in society, for fear of changing the demographics of their vote bank

How long will this continue when overall the progress of Pakistan is being hampered by these uneducated ruling elite?

Are they above Pakistan?

Countless Supreme Courts order but what has been the result?

We want economic progress or stunted growth to satisfy the GREED of these uneducated ruling elites?

Pakistan needs to Atleast grow it's GDP to half of India 🇮🇳, if it has any hopes of competing in the future.

Pakistan can't make progress if local nationalists are hampering growth and not being punished publicly.

I agree, but not only Punjab and Balochistan, all provinces should be divided into more provinces. All provinces in the country are based on language, parties like PPP, PML N, MQM and etc get votes on language racism.

All religious parties should be Banned.

Its better to be a Pakistani, than a Muslim, there are Christians, Hindus, Mirzaye in the country too.
Religion in Pakistan is Cancer, More than 80k killed in the name of Islam, All mullah considers each other Infidel/Kafir.

All parties are military product, Don't be Hypocrite,
PPP and PML N are also military product. Ayob and Zia brought them.

So, Do't criticize military for some parties, All politicians have none of reputation, so they got back of some generals, better to criticize these stupid, hypocrite and immature politicians.

1) PPP governance

A BIG BAD ROTTEN PROBLEM FOR WHOLE SINDH.

Urdu walas have NO reason to FIGHT Sindhis and in same sense SINDHIS should have no reason to fight us

SINDH IS OUR HOME - ONLY HOME.

Urdu Walas and Sindhis were made to fight each other. Both gain nothing as who would want to disturb home.

May be Someone from NORTH has created a DIVIDE.

Provincial divisions does not divide sindhi identity. At the end of the day ur still a sindhi. A southern sindhi and a. Northern sindhi.
Frankly I think u guys dont want to deal with ur own people. The nationalist card serves u to make deals with establishment like u folks did in past. So dont sound so naive.
Wrong every sindhi is not a nationalist. A big section is actually fundamentally religious
The South Punjab is historically part of Sindh, all the way up to Multan. We are willing to retake it add to Sindh but don't be mistaken about Sindhis giving up or dividing any part our land. That's a no no.
If you want to play this game then you should know karachi was never sindhi but baloch. Even south Punjab(where hardly any sindhi speaking people exist) nobody wants ur wadera shahi bs. So stay where u are and dont transgress. Use ur words wisely.

this is ALL PROPPED UP BY peepee.

zardari and company are behind this piece of s#it.

Look not so long ago that shemale was saying openly in the media that it will break Pakistan with making sindh a country IF 18th amendment was touched.

Again PTM is backed by who? peepee.

I really really, really find it amusing when the left wingers, have a bone against our Faith and say that look religious extremists do this that the other BUT no one has harmed Pakistan more than than these fake pseudo marxists.

If people of sindh are genuinely with this lark then fight the federation. you will not win.

Its funny the biggest problem in sindh. peepee is propping people up against the federation. yet its peepee that has been raping them again and again.

how jahil people of sindh are is beyond understanding.

Sindhis feel alienated despite the quota system, despite occupying nearly all the government jobs in the province, despite voting for Pee pee pee again and again willingly

What exactly are they alienated about?

That pee pee pee should be allowed to loot the whole country and not just Sindh?
