My opinion is that:
1. New Constitution declaring all Pakistanis as equal citizens regardless of their religion,caste,ethnicity and gender.
2. Reform the education system. Spend more % of GDP on education.
3. Law should be equal for all. Rich & Poor.
4. Making more provinces for better governance not on ethnic lines.
4. Provinces should have more power so they can easily provide the local people with basic services such as health, education and jobs.
5. Stop all military operations in Baluchistan and offer Baloch rebels talks and try to solver their issues through dialogue instead kidnapping Baloch activists and killing them.
6. Have a national policy on terrorism.
7. Sit down and talk with the tribal leaders from FATA. Maybe making FATA a separate province will give the people more power to take decisions in their hands instead of the tribal elders.

I would like to Invite all Patriats to provide input on how to make this country progress in a true and realistic manner. What fundamental Policies have to be adapted on permanent footings to make a true Pakistani Nation, free of Ethnic and sectarian Divides, so that the enormous Human resourse potential can be directed towards progress in every facet of life in Pakistan and our standing in the comity of Nations Worldwide.

To start with I wish to direct the discussion in a systematic manner, so that we end up with efficient and realistic solutions.

1. We must start with identification of our National weaknesses or shortcomings that need to be addressed on priority. In step two we will agree on them in order of Priority and importance. In step three we will discuss the most efficient and viable solutions implementable with minimum resistence.

Now I expect from my fellows to comment on the proposed Policy before we proceed further.

First priority is to secure the borders, then kick out the illegals.
Then we create a tax policy that is actually enforced and we use the money to build infrastructure to connect the country together properly via roads.
Invest in jobs and technology especially in the field of essentials like water and medicine.
Bring back the looted money and invest that into education, slowly but surely build academic relationships with surrounding countries and encourage technology sharing.
After all this we should be smarter, wealthier and be able to plan for the future effectively.

Education is very important. A nation which has low literacy rate will have alot of internal issues and enemies will exploit it.

We need to reform the education system so our youth know about Pakistan and its history, we need to teach them about Allama Iqbal and the Pakistan movement, we need to educate them about values, culture, unity, teach them about the Islamic history of the Indian subcontinent.

There is nothing wrong with being Punjabi, Pathan, Sindh, Balochi etc. The discrimination we face divides us. If we destroy our ethnicity then people will be fighting over other issues like sects, city v city, Lahori v Karachi, culture v other culture.

It is discrimination and racism which divides us.

We in Pakistan had 2 main sects but due to military and government support, new sects emerged and they caused chaos, still our establishment favours a certain sect over the majority Muslims. These new terrorist sects need to be banned. We only need the traditional Islam which has been here for 1000 years.

Pakistan can rise as a great power but people in charge are corrupt and clueless, this is not just for Pakistan but for whole ummah. If we were education and intelligent ummah then we would be United. European Union and Nato is United, they learnt to work with each other. It's just a state of mind.

Pakistan is and will be a Islamic state with Islam as its main religion, but in the islamic state, the rights of minority are protected and they are given freedom to worship, the state job is to protect them but our corrupt governments have failed, and our people kept voting them in. Living under the Islamic state should be a dream of non Muslims but Muslims failed them. Read the constitution of the state of Madina.
The public needs to take responsibility and bring in new genuine leadership.

Simple...

1. Minimise religious interference in state matters. Don't invoke Islam etc. in each and every aspect of life.
2. Education, Education Education...invest maximum in Education (Modern Education not Madrassa)
3. Make state policies by looking from perspective of a welfare state and not a security state. Stop deciding on Pakistan's fate by looking at India and trying to do opposite to what India Does.
4. Reduce Mullah culture.....
5. Treat Minorities well.
7. Let democracy prevail. Give political parties free hand to decide on external affairs.
8. Forget Kashmir for sometime.....first focus on developing Pakistan....so that you could have leverage on high table when time comes...else it's already a gone case.
9. Establishment interference should be limited...... Pakistan owns the Army...Army doesn't own Pakistan.
10. Stop religious/proxy games.....at least for time being as you have other important task (of development) in hand. A less hostile neighbourhood would be helpful in achieving development (as funds can be directed towards education, health and industry sector) rather than only defence.

Only way, Cut down Army role. Army which supported evils like Shariffs, Zardaris etc from 1980s have destroyed the roots of Pakistan forever.

And lastly get back $350+ billion looted by Pakistanis abroad.

Clean the society with harsh punishments of the corrupt elementa everyone knows now.
