Yes time dilation(as in time passing slower) would only apply to the person/object traveling near the speed of light.That would slow down time for you only, wouldn't it? Would go on as it does for others.
I think the heavier the gravity of an object the slower the time gets around it.
As for the second part yes...the time does pass slower around heavy objects...but now after reading ur statement I'm curious to find out if that time dilation is proportional to the gravitational field of that massive object. Like would that time dilation follow the same relationship as gravity(inversely proportional to the distance squared)?...I'm gonna read up on that.
If u take the limit...Step 1: Take a big joint of that illusive green magic grass.
Step 2: after completing the inhalation procedure, take a large frying pan.
Step 3: take thou frying pan and touch thou forehead, gently.
Step 4: move away thou frying pan from thous forehead.
Step 5: repeat step 3 and 4, with increase in speed and force.
Speed and Force would tend to infinity as IQ approaches zero.
