Let us not forget that the 'same' USA helped Pakistan rout USSR from Afghanistan in the 1980s. So USA was 'good' back then?

Al-Qaeda Network was not a lie as well. This entity emerged in 1988 and brought another war to Afghanistan.

Our region continues to pay a hefty price of the 'cascading effects' produced by Soviet aggression to this day.
