this presents a contradiction on the sanghis... the bjp keeps using banal words like "the constittution" and "the law of the land" and yet they do not talk about a main contributor of the constitution of india, mr. ambedkar, having spoken out against the culture the sanghis promote.
to be fair, once the dalits have converted to the religion they think is liberating, why should they be allowed reservation??
but reservation is really a failed policy, that has actually contributed to keeping the communal divide... what is needed is the simplicity and clarity of socialism.
there is a variation to this... in inter-religion marriages in india, when the bride is hindu and the groom is muslim or christian, i have read that they are sometimes scolded by the notary ( court officer for the process ) for marrying a abrahamic faith born man.
