How the fear of PAF caused Indian Gnat to crash

This same airforce that put its planes in the backward bases and refused to help its own soldiers as they were being pounded by Indian airforce during kargil. What a shame

Salute to his brave attempt
Here is the pic of Kaiser Tufail,

The PAF could have opened an all out offense on west corridor, what they feared off?
WRONG, at least learn from your country fellow's post -28 to understand that the air force does not open fronts rather it carries out strike and interdiction missions in support of the army.

"All warfare is based on deception"- art of war
All the nations have used it....

So??? All that matters is the outcome of the war.... superior inferior dont matter... at the end of the day all that matters is whether you won or not.... so did u win????:smokin:
Likewise one could argue that since you managed to either kill or capture all the Mumbai attackers, it's irrelevant how many they killed.......Logick. !!
We are discussing a chapter..... a battle..... not the book or the war.

.

Whom you are trying to fool?

Neither your army nor airforce did anything substantial on western front in retaliation of what India was doing to East Pakistan.

Enough of your bravery sagas.

Air superiority ...... keeping an enemy four times its own size mulling around on the border for a whole year.
Remember in erstwhile East Pakistan, India fielded ten squadrons of much superior aircraft compared to single PAF F-86 unit.

Yup, the raids on Shorkot, Sargodha, Lyallpur and Mianwali airfields were done by aliens then...

I think @AUSTERLITZ posted some interesting threads about the attacks..

What I do not understand is how exactly it is a victory for PAF? As any pilot do, IAF pilot did evasive maneuvers when spotted enemy fighter and while doing it, he lost control and crashed.. What exactly there to gloat about?

The mighty Indian air force was doing ad-hoc missions within it's own side of the border, the few times it ventured over, their tails were on fire, why don't you update yourself as why did the IAF stand down on the night of 28th/29th June when it was all poised to launch attack on Azad Kashmir. That's when your army remained paralysed on the border for almost a year and lost close to a thousand soldiers.
2001–02 India–Pakistan standoff
Casualties[edit]
The standoff inflicted heavy, non-combat, casualties. 789 Indian soldiers were killed, all as a result of mine laying operations.[2] Further, the total Indian losses were 1,874, which included killed or wounded[3]

Cost of standoff[edit]
The Indian cost for the buildup was

216 billion (US$3.4 billion) while Pakistan's was $1.4 billion.[26]

Spoon feed time, pause, take a deep breath, cold glass of water would help..... now read slowly, since the Pakistan army didn't launch the offensive that it was meant to, there was nothing for PAF to support although it did carry out initial strikes against a dozen Indian airfields and in the words of Indian MOD, kept attacking designated targets as late as 17th December. In fact it was on the last day of the war, an obsolete F-86 shot down an Indian MiG-21 in the Western theatre.

So coward army let down the brave and fearsome airforce. Got ya.

And airforce is army driven. Got ya.

Don't let your mind go into overdrive, it;s an historical fact that at least three PAF squadrons weren't utilised during the war as they were conserved for long battles ahead.
As for your smart alec comments, Dessert storm may have destroyed a lot of infrastructure and equipment from the air but it wasn't until Gulf war -2 with feet on the ground was launched that the objective of the war was achieved.

Country got divided, and PAF/PA was busy in conservation for long battle. Got ya.

If certain people had a brain, they would be dangerous.
So enlighten us that how could the PA and PAF units stationed in the Western border assist forces in the East, which was separated by a thousand miles of enemy territory while other neighborly countries would only allow non combat goods to transit through their route.
You will certainly get it if you remember what's commonly known as India's Vietnam, which happened right next door to you.

I thought you would come up with better rant.

Tell me why India opened a front on IB and attacked Lahore why they could have just contend them with fighting on LoC?

It was not a war on East Pakistan only but a war on Pakistan. Pakistan should have responded back and hurt India where it could i.e. on western corridor, rather than throwing excuses of its cowardice.

Your PA and PAF kept on watching pakistan break in 71.
