How strong are the ties that bind Russia and India?

Business is business. But India is important to Russia. I'm really interesting what will Russian react If there is conflict between China and India?

They will either mediate or stay neutral. I doubt that they will actively take any side.

to be honest,all the international relations based on business and the countries own interest. nothing beyond that. exceptionally religious relations .

its more than just business u see..russia is always a reliable partner for us..they helped us in 71 war,they provided space tech and nuke tech when west laid sanctions on us they built large industries and shared hitech with us..which is why inspite of some bitter experiences like delays and cost increases we still deal with russia majority of times.its a balancing act.we cant be just u.k or austraila or european nations which completely depend on u.s.hatsoff to our policy makers..we're evenly dealing with two powers which are greatest adversaries publicly with out displeasing any side..thats diplomacy

god forbid if at all something like that happens india do not leverage the relations with russia but it uses u.s...if at all the confilct rises with any european nations then it leverages the position with russia..its a well planned diplomacy by our foreign planners..we deal with both adversaries and use the relations for our interests be it technology or geopolitics
