In my opinion, if the US sends weapons to Ukraine, then Russia must counter this by sending weapons to rebels. Currently, rebels only have captured Ukrainians arms like AK-74, Konkurs, T-64s, Gvozdika. If the US sends weapons, then Russia must send AK-74M or even AK-12, Kornets, T-90s, Smerch, Msta-S, SA-22 Greyhound which kill drones, Ka-52, Mi-28N.

Another option is to deploy Russian military to drive Ukrainian army out of Donbas and secure the borders and annex Donbas into Russia as Russia's 10th federal district called the Donbas federal district. Ukrainian soldiers do not dare to shoot at Russian soldiers. Such a military operation would be bloodless as with the annexation of Russia's 9th federal district called the Crimean federal district.
