Look Indonesian Islamist doesnt have any meaningful influence from Saudi. You can see that Indonesia first Islamist Movement was started by Syarikat Islam, founded in 1908. 30 years before Saudi Arabia even exist as state. It is also the most important organization that contribute greatly to Indonesian independent.
Just like with Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt. Indonesian Islamist movement is very independent.

Saudi though influence Salafist movement in Indonesia, but this group is very small and always obey government and doesnt like demonstration.
PKS is also more related to Muslim Brotherhood then Saudi. They supported Mursi in Egypy, unlike Saudi who want to see MB fall in Egypt.

Sarekat Islam (Islamic Union), formerly Islamists Trade Union (

Dutch East Indies and a predecessor of independent

Kartosuwirjo. Haji Agus Salim joined Sarekat Islam in 1915 and promoted Islamic modernism. Some of Salim's students such as Kasman Singodimedjo,
Mohammad Roem and
Mohammad Natsir later became prominent Islamic and Nationalist leaders.
