Being puppet of a foreign country isn't something that Iranians be proud of.
That's why 98% Iranians voted to IR.
West has many double standards.
For example it recognize the Zionist occupitaion of Palestine, bombing of Yemen for three years, making coups and wars in other countries, etc... but it doesn't tolerate sovereign countries.
Iran, Pakistan, China, Libya, Syria, Venezula, Brazil etv... are examples.
They tested all kinds of wars against Iran but they completely defeated. I'm sure in this economic warfare they will get defeated too.
