even they cannot be fired without lock codes practically till one has know how to dismantle and re assemble them and i am sure lock codes are not with those who actually guard them and those who dont dont have the access to them

True, the ppl who will fire them have only one job, they have to match the codes that they were given during the start of their mission with the codes that they receive from the President (or other authorities) at the time of their launch.

Assembly/reassembly is done only in state controlled protected factories, cant be done outside.

Any attempts to break through the secure systems will render the weapons useless.

Eactly my point.. It wont be easy to hide the weapon because of radio active signatures too. So even if they steal it will be very hard for them to actually use it till they have the technology and also the money to actually use it

Right now, the idea of Pakistan's nuclear weapons getting jeopardized is highly overrated. PNS Mehran incident indicated that there is some help to the extremists from inside the establishment but it cannot yet be that profound or that comprehensive to take over the nuclear command of the country. Even if there is a possibility of fissile materials and other equipments getting into the wrong hands, there is not going to be any threat unless they can capture some warhead that can carry the nuclear payload. These things are totally unmanageable until they have extensive control over the establishment from inside or even of some key positions. That is highly unlikely, right now.

Actually during late 80s and early 90s KGB had deviced nuclear weapons that could fit in briefcase for example to detect unlawful spread of such dangerous weapon in terrorists hand US developed sensors that could detect radiation from such weapons if mounted on low orbital satellites................and that was done in 1994-96 the technology has evolved and they have been using it successfuly to even detect strategic nuclear sites of countries like China.

There is no evidence to say it is ready or it has been cancelled, no point debating it's existence, only time will tell

Thats what I'm saying...time has been telling it for the past decade,and will continue to tell...

When a system is available for testing,it is readily tested...there is no point in waiting for the right moment...one has to test them to ensure their reliability...so when the right moment comes,they are ready to be used...

NATO helicopters violate Pakistan’s airspace

PESHAWAR/ISLAMABAD:
Air-borne troops from the US-led Nato forces intruded into the North Waziristan tribal region on Monday in pursuit of militants and took into custody five suspected militants from the Haqqani network.
The Haqqani network – the deadliest of all Taliban factions – has been blamed by the United States for most of the attacks against Nato troops in Afghanistan.
According to media reports, Nato helicopters violated Pakistan’s airspace in “hot pursuit’” landed in the mountainous area of Gorveet in North Waziristan and took into custody five suspected members of the Haqqani network.
The political agent of North Waziristan confirmed the incident and the arrests. Locals said that fear gripped the area following the incident.
In Islamabad, the US embassy rejected the report of Pakistan’s airspace violation by Nato helicopters as “false”. The spokesperson said the US embassy has checked with authorities from the International Security and Assistance Force (Isaf) in Afghanistan that they have confirmed that no such incident took place in North Waziristan.
Meanwhile, a young girl was killed and eight others were wounded in a bomb attack at a hotel in North Waziristan, officials said.
The blast occurred at the 12-room Super Waziristan Hotel in Miramshah, the main town of the tribal region.
“An improvised explosive device (IED) that was planted in one of the rooms went off, initially wounding nine people,” an intelligence official told AFP, on condition of anonymity.
Another official confirmed the incident and said a girl died of her wounds after reaching the hospital.
However, according to APP the bomb was planted on the rooftop of Qadria Hotel in the main bazaar of Miramshah and injured 10 persons, including three women and four children. The hotel building was slightly damaged.
Security forces and the political administration rushed to the location soon after the blast and started a search operation.
