India's size alone is power plus they don't exactly threaten the world order, they lean towards the US anyway, so they don't mind it making non-major beneficial deals with Russia and Iran that aren't much of a threat.

Pakistan is not Bangladesh. We have total approval of buying oil from Russia and it's a work in progress. We are discussing a Pak-Stream I pipeline, beyond just purchasing a few tankers of LNG / Gas. So it's a very long term and affordable vision by the current Pakistani government. The cost savings will go back and get reinvested into the Pipeline!
