Remember, Quran is an extremely amazing poetry of God Himself, He mentions things straight yet cyphered. The barrier here mentioned in Surah Anbiya might be talking about Dimensions and Unseen world while the Wall Built in Surah Kahf refers to the actual enclosure.

Take these two as different things, first you close them behind a wall, Then Allah sets a Barrier to the human eye.

Until the Gog and Magog (people) are let through (their barrier) and they swiftly swarm from every hill.

This is the complete verse bro. Iron as material, molten chopper, making a fire (steel processing), making a dam (wall) is very explicitly written in Quran. The words barrier itself is stated by those local people themselves, and God only recorded it on Quran.

Al KAHFI: 93-98

Until, when he reached [a pass] between two mountains, he found beside them a people who could hardly understand [his] speech.

They said, "O Dhul-Qarnayn, indeed Gog and Magog are [great] corrupters in the land. So may we assign for you an expenditure that you might make between us and them a barrier?"

He said, "That in which my Lord has established me is better [than what you offer], but assist me with strength; I will make between you and them a dam.

Bring me sheets of iron" - until, when he had leveled [them] between the two mountain walls, he said, "Blow [with bellows]," until when he had made it [like] fire, he said, "Bring me, that I may pour over it molten copper."

So Gog and Magog were unable to pass over it, nor were they able [to effect] in it any penetration.

[Dhul-Qarnayn] said, "This is a mercy from my Lord; but when the promise of my Lord comes, He will make it level, and ever is the promise of my Lord true."

And this is when the Promise of God comes true, look the Arabic words use future tense from the period of prophet Muhammad, so it may not future tense any more from us if the event happen 300 years after prophet Muhammad life or what ever years before we are all born.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 21 Surah Anbiyaa verses 96-97:

96 Until the Gog and Magog (people) are let through (their barrier) and they swiftly swarm from every hill.

97 Then will the True Promise draw nigh (of fulfillment): then behold! the eyes of the Unbelievers will fixedly stare in horror: "Ah! woe to us! we were indeed heedless of this; nay we truly did wrong!"

NA, its suppose to be near in your point of view but may be hundreds of years from if not thousand of years from now, we don't know when big event and situation will start, like arrival of imam medhi, arrival of messiah, spreading of yajooj and majooj/ arrival of dajjal, are these events within can occur within few year or few hundred years if not few thousand of year from now, nobody knows

Oh bhai how do you know that dajjal fitna will be 1.5-2 year long is this your assumptions and are you talking that all these fitnas will occur within 100 year time frame again nobody knows

170-180 years from now It will get ended by gog and magog and by the way Gog and Magog will not only end the Ummah but it will end all civilisation as you see today. All the nations will die and the world will get extremely depopulated. except a tiny few in the thousands will remain to start from the beginning.

Our modern technology will disappear with the massive population gog and magog wipes out from the face of the earth.

You will end up with a small population who have forgotten the past, technology and everything. The few people will have to start slowly and rebuild again and repopulate the world. Islam will last that generation or 2 and it will vanish and the world will be populated again but there is no-religion in the world this time. At that point which means Islam has served it's time everything that has a beginning has an end the prophet said himself this religion will not surpass 1500 years.

Birth of Islam:

In the month of August the year 610 - A random man in the mountains of Jabal-an Nour in the cave of Hira was chosen by Allah to become the messenger of this new religion.

The End of Islam:

Gog and Magog era Estimation the year 2196-97 - Their true arrival is only with Allah on my part it's just speculation. The knowlegde is only with Allah not me as I don't know it. So please don't take my estimation as 100%

The Hour can come right this second or it will come after billions of years later.

The Hour isn't an easy thing, everyone should stop fantisizing for it.

I pray i don't see a single major sign neither do my kids see it neither do their kids and generations after generations of them may they not see it.

I don't care how big of a scholar or knowledgeable someone is, if he claims to predict future and give dates of end of Ummah or coming of Hour is a liar.

Imam Suyuti Rehmatullah Alayhi wrote the ummah will last for 1500years. We have Many other texts which give dates and timelines but most are Inaccurate.

nearly all of the minor signs have passed, only a few remain and amongst them we need to look at the Syrian civil war which we are foretold in ahadith we last for 12/18yrs. At the end of that we will have uncovering Of gold in the Euphrates. There’s many others but my point is, I think we are close to the major signs...imo our children’s generation will be around when Dajjal appears.

We now know the inside out of our planet geographically. No such mountain ranges have been found that were blocked by walls enclosing any such nation. But if we take these terms metaphorically then it becomes more plausible. If you read the language used to describe the flight of the dajjal from Hazrat Isa ... it states his horse will be flying many many times faster than the horses of that time ... it could be a metaphorical way of describing a plane almost 1450 years ago. Rest, only time will reveal.

Then why are you disallowing the possibility that Allah made aliens as well? Maybe they have been kept ghaib till now? Allah made such a big universe and just one sentient species? Maybe, but maybe not. I would like to stay open to the possibility that their are aliens. Hence the phenomena of the Yajuj and Majuj are, in my humble opinion, better explained by the extra-terrestrial definition.
