How "Indigenous" is Dhruv/ALH?

As a student of Economics, reading through some posts, it seems to me many people don't understand very BASIC Economic ideas; NO plane or any technology for that matter anywhere in the world is 100% indigenous as to do so would make the product be it plane or helicopter EXTREMELY expensive, not to mention a very inefficient use of resources. In this globalised world it is cheaper to divert resources and specialise in certain areas, this is basic Economic theory and frankly common sense! Look at the US the F-15 and F-16 contain some European components. On the other hand the Eurofighter contains huge amounts of US tech (even though it is meant to be the EUROfighter!) as does the SAAB Gripen and Rafele. And I hate to break it to you but whilst you make like to think the Jf-17 is indigenous many parts are illegal copies of US and European parts and the engines come from Russia (RD-33s) and your "brother" China doesn't manufacture one indigenous product as to be indigenous the concept would have to be indigenous as well but all they have done is steal the designs and make the components themselves and write "MADE IN CHINA" on. We have seen this many times: B2 engine details sold to Chinese, when a USAF F-117 crashed in Bosnia Chinese spies were all over it offering wads of cash to the locals for bits of scrap and perhaps the most illustrative example:

SPOT THE DIFFERENCE!!

The Shenyang J-15 Flying Shark (simplified Chinese: 歼-15) is a carrier-based fighter aircraft in development by the Shenyang Aircraft Corporation and the 601 Institute for the PLAN's future aircraft carriers. Rumors initially claimed the aircraft was to be a semi-stealth variant, yet later reports indicate the aircraft is based on the Russian-designed Sukhoi Su-33 and is fitted with domestically produced radars and weapons. An unfinished Su-33 prototype, the T-10K-3,[2] was acquired from Ukraine sometime in 2001 and is said to have been studied extensively, with development on the J-15 beginning immediately afterward.[1][2][3][4]
Russian military experts have downplayed any significant competition from the J-15 in the global arms market, with Col. Igor Korotchenko of the Defense Ministry stating in early June 2010, "The Chinese J-15 clone is unlikely to achieve the same performance characteristics of the Russian Su-33 carrier-based fighter, and I do not rule out the possibility that China could return to negotiations with Russia on the purchase of a substantial batch of Su-33s."[1] China has actively sought to purchase Su-33s from Russia on numerous occasions—an unsuccessful offer was made as late as March 2009[5]—but negotiations collapsed in 2006 after it was discovered that China had developed a modified version[6][7][8] of the Sukhoi Su-27SK designated the Shenyang J-11B,[9][10][11] in violation of intellectual property agreements.[1]
The first J-15 prototype is believed to have performed its maiden flight on August 31, 2009, with power supplied by Shenyang WS-10 turbofan engines.[1] Video and still images of the flight were released in July 2010, showing the same basic airframe design as the Su-33.[12]

what I am saying is that everyone who is criticising India for the Dhruv not being exactly 100% indigenous is COMPLETELY missing the point, NO helicopter today is 100% home made anywhere in the world as it is inefficient to do so- there's no point trying to re-invent the wheel- think of the BILLIONS of $$$ and 1000s of man hours the US and Europe has spent and R&D, why should India try to replicate this?? What India has done with the Dhruv is sensible- design and develop the helicopter, build and design what components they need then chose from the most advanced tech elsewhere in the world to compliment this.

in one sentance-

don't attack the Dhruv on the "not 100% indigenous" route as it is sooo transparent it is just sour grapes and attack for the sake of attack.

oh and the pics are just to illustrate my point!
