Most terrorists in India escaped to UAE and then elsewhere. Our governments should have first focussed on UAE to stop terror funding and transit routes and then on Pakistan.

This is actually part of India's strategy of taking terror groups to UN.

In the absence of UN restrictions on these groups UAE will only assist India out of goodwill not due to UN pressure.

The problem here is Pakistani Intelligence using UAE as route to fund terror groups in India like IM. Which isn't high priority for UAE, until recently.

Also, this is not the first time Pakistani Govt has used a third country to support terror in India.

Our media seriously needs some internal introspection , especially towards pakistan. However that being said while not a major blow to pakistan ,but more like gaining more strategic covergence/influence on some issues which we didnt have before. Improving mutual interest in each other countries would result in us having more favourable influence.

I think this is the most opportune time to do exactly that .ME countries oil revenue's are down , They are looking to diversify their stakes away from oil.So We should court more proactively other ME countries .Moreover they have very good construction companies so investing in indian infrastructure would be win/win .

be it oil rich arab shiekhs or be it westyern nations to any of there "new relationship" bottomline is money and that to in a secure envoirment india gives them both so they are investing here but as for pakistan its more of emotinal attachement to arabs than any thing else and thats why arabs exploit or mistreat pakistanies more than they do the same with indians or even bangladeshies

I always do!
Just like i always tell the Indians that they are wrong if they think that growing Russian-Pakistan relations wont have ANY effect on them. The same way i am saying that the UAE were no doubt pissed at us and the warming of India-UAE relations are because of that. IT surely will have some effect on our direct relations.

The problem is while some excited Pakistani members will say that now Russia will side with us and go to a war with India for us there are many more Indian who think that Russians are deceiving Pakistan and there are no improving relations and these two can never come close. Both are equally wrong perceptions.
