To anyone else, yes, the sanest thing would be to focus on our land only and not be distracted. But a Muslim is different than others.

We believe help comes from God alone and to strive for justice and stop oppression is our first and foremost duty and ignoring oppression is a sin and makes you an accomplice invoking the wrath of God. Stop it by force, stop it by speaking against it, at the very least consider it wrong in your heart but don't ever dare defend the oppressors or support them.

History is a testament to this fact where Muslims despite being outnumbered and going against conventional wisdom succeeded because they fought in path of God.

Because if we follow your advice and if our ancestors had followed your advice, trust me, Islam would have either perished since the enemies of Islam were stronger and plotted against Muslims even at the time of Prophet Muhammad (saww) or restricted to Medina and Makkah only and it certainly came close to that against Mongols.

Muslims didn't get to 2 billion strong by doing the sanest thing always rather they got here with help of God and following the path of righteous.

We Chinese see things in a big picture, Mao was one of the greatest leaders in the whole Chinese history and loved by the Chinese people, we know US hates him cause he beat the crap out of US in Korea and Vietnam, but that's exactly how he helped China stand up to world bullies, we are very grateful to him for bringing back the Chinese national dignity that was lost for a hundred years, Mao's China was no long a pushover and a doormat for western powers.
Mao was a Chinese, so the only thing matters is how we Chinese judge him, not foreigners, and what really happens on the ground is that the more you westerners hate him, the more we Chinese love him.

Mao didn’t give Chinese people anything but misery and destruction. It was American capital, American factories, American technology, American market access, American managerial expertise, American University access for Chinese students that have made China into what it is today. If America didn’t help China, Chinese people would still be riding bicycles and starving to death.

They hate America and call Americans ‘racist’, but it was America that gave them everything they have now including things like veto power at the UNSC and allowed them to compete at the Olympics.

If America was ‘racist’, they would never have given China any of these things in the first place. This is why you never trust the CCP. Despite everything that America has done to help them, they are still ungrateful people.
