I'm not going to trust a supposed statement by Churchill was really made, until you provide me with an audio recording of it. People from the middle east and Asia have a reputation for flat-out lies around here.
Which part of my comment ever mentioned middle East. Madhusree Mukerjee is from India, her book had been endorsed by the West. Does the names Leopold Amery and Lord Wavell sound Arabs to you. BTW I don't endorse to the thing written in opening post, I didn't read that.
If it wasn't the great famine in Bengal, the Japanese would have liberated India Japanese style. On the list of glorious Japanese war history, there would have been Calcutta next to Naking.
You are simply making mockery of millions of dead people of Bengal trying to be apologist for Churchill.
