Houthi forces launch new offensive inside southern Saudi Arabia

BEIRUT, LEBANON (10:30 A.M.) – The Houthi forces launched a new offensive in southern Saudi Arabia last night, targeting the Coalition defenses inside the Najran Province.

Backed by heavy artillery, the Houthi forces began their assault by storming the Saudi Coalition’s defenses inside Muraba Shagha area of Najrrann.

According to the official media wing of the Houthi forces, their group troops managed to score an advance in the Muraba Shagha area before retreating to avoid the Saudi Coalition’s airstrikes.

The Houthi troops said that they inflicted heavy causalities within the ranks of the Saudi Coalition forces, while also destroying a number of technical vehicles.

Meanwhile, at the Al-Dood Mountain front in the nearby Jizan Province, the Houthi forces destroyed a Saudi military 50 caliber machine gun after firing an anti-tank guided missile at a Coalition post.

BEIRUT, LEBANON (12:00 A.M.) – The Saudi-backed forces launched a new offensive inside the eastern countryside of Sanaa on Thursday, targeting the Houthis positions near the Mareb Governorate axis.

According to the official media wing of the Houthis Movement, their troops confronted a large Saudi-backed force that was attempting to capture the strategic Nihm District.


The Houthis official media wing said their troops were able to fully repel the Saudi-backed attack on their positions, forcing the latter to retreat back towards the Mareb Governorate.

They added that their troops managed to kill scores of Saudi-backed fighters, including a number of field commanders loyal to the exiled President Abd Rubbah Mansour Hadi.

This latest attack by the Saudi-backed forces in the Nihm District marks the third time in the last two weeks that they have launched an offensive in this part of the Sanaa Governorate.

Not Saudia Arabia but just Makkah and Medina. I doubt Houthis will attack Makkah and Medina although KSA will try to play that way. But Houthis will attack KSA especially Riyadh as the direct message.

KSA will pay the price for what its have done in Middle East. Civil war has been prophesied in KSA 1400 years ago.

Not Saudia Arabia but just Makkah and Medina. I doubt Houthis will attack Makkah and Medina although KSA will try to play that way. But Houthis will attack KSA especially Riyadh as the direct message.

Iran. C'mon bro. Once IRGC has time and chaos they can turn rag tag sandal wearers into effective guerilla fighters. Between the size of the Houthis, the terrain in Yemen, ineffectiveness of Pro-Saudi ground forces, Iran has alot to work with in Yemen.

KSA has one of the most modern militaries outside of NATO in the world and is equipped with an arsenal of devastating weapons.

What is even more surprising is that why is Saudi not seeking help from Pakistan?

Pakistan has committed to protecting the royal family along with the two holy sites of Islamic religion. Also, Pakistan has protected Saudi before more than once.

Does this not threaten the safety of the holy sites? Not in terms of damage, but in terms of Houthis taking control and therefore controlling the influence of Muslim world?

As far as I'm aware iran always has said it support yemen people morally not more.
