Yeah, but most regular forces don't get any gear. All the border guards that die regularly in the Pakistani and Afghan border areas don't have any gear other than their ancient AK rifles.

All in all, unfortunately I do believe it's true what I have said in that post.
But as you can see I have also spoken about "average online Iranians here" , not all.
