Since hindus are caught red handed willing playing victim in the indo-awami staged managed drama, they deserve no sympathy. On top of it many hindus are actively participating as indian foot soldiers on indian proxy war against Bangladesh, these collaborators should not be spared. hindu religious identity indians and hindus are using as shield and deception for their act against Bangladesh and majority population. After Awami League thugs were fund to making those attack in sathia and elsewhere all indian and hindu noise disappeared. That goes to show how bogus these hindu community leaders are and their master in india.

Why is it not possible that BAL are also not sympathetic to Hindus?? Hence no motivation to find the culprits??

In past two year I have been on PDF and started reading BD section not a week passed when a minority in your country is not attacked. If BAL are pro Indian and pro Hindu why did they allow it?? Are they so stupid to distance their own voters?? My guess is they lost the grip on your extremist elements.

They are pretty smart actually. Those culprits don't do all that for free. Be it Jamaat or AL. A thousand Taka and a free lungi can go a long way.

Look, my jeweler is a Hindu, and a very well accomplished businessman. And you know what he said about Hasina? That she may not live in the next six months.

Security must not have ANY religion/non-religion behind it. Security must be for ALL citizens. Revolving security around religion/non-religion is stupid and destined to failure.

See all those fancy Western people encouraging protection of minorities? The result is usually the complete opposite. Regardless of the concerned country. And in a way, repressive.

Brainless idealism and exceptionalism are dangerous. Be they Western, or Muslim.

I am also looking at the historic precedent when Hindus were brunt of oppression in 1971. I see the eerie similarities being repeated here and Hindus being specifically targeted. Look at the scale of attacks on your minorities. Are your minorities not your citizens?

I agree that there is general chaos in your country and law and order is in total disarray. But if you see a systematic pattern of attacks on your minorities then it becomes the duty of those in power to safe guard their interests.

Here is the list of Hindu temples that were attacked just in Feb-March period right after the verdict by Jamaati goons. According to community leaders, more than 50 Hindu temples and 1,500 Hindu homes were destroyed in 20 districts.

It has nothing to do with sympathy when they themselves are the culprits...even pro BAL newspapers reported that local BAL leaders staged the attack and a BAL minister went their to say that BAL will protect the Hindus and wanted votes....Here's the Daily Star report....THe guy who attacked the Hindus even went to receive the BAL minister.The attacker has benn identified and not arrested.

Oh boy, where to start

I never denied that that there are attacks against Hindus. I never said minorities are not Bangladesh's citizens. It is in the country's constitution to grant rights for all minorities. My point being that security must be there for all Bangladeshis regardless of religion. No special treatment. No exceptions.

For once, you are right that people should get more security, and the job of the ruling (which they aren't). Suffice to say, the recent nominations for AL MP's have clear and recorded criminal histories. As if that'd improve their security. Did you know that the site at the Rana Plaza disaster once belonged to a Hindu? The owner is an AL member (Jubo League). Hasina even lied about him being an AL member on CNN. You can see it for yourself.

As I said, there are no exceptions. Jamaat? They are a bunch of 90 year old dudes with very few seats in parliament even during the BNP-era. What can they do? They have very little control over what goes on in Bangladesh. And with their leaders in jail, the party is left in disarray and may even go underground. Do you believe that scenario will improve the situation?

The AL are a mafia party, nothing else. All I'm saying is that they are not going to improve their security situation one bit. And if the Hindus of Bangladesh cannot tolerate it, they can always move someplace else where they can live happily ever after. No biggy.
