Hinduism in China

This was about Hinduism in china not necessarily meant for Indians, wanted to hear Chinese Opinions not Indian, the cultural revolution is a forgotten page in china's history the 5000 years can never be erased, and no Chinese aren't ashamed of their ancient history it's alive and well today.

You did not mention you wanted only the Chinese opinion in your opening post. I should have known its just another HInduism bashing thread. Any way. I don't understand how a Chinese person would know why Hinduism did not come to China better than Indians. From the posts you have thanked, it is pretty clear that you are here for your daily dose of some Hindu bashing, apart from the usual Jew bashing.

What was your intention of starting the thread, may i ask?

When you like that nonsense post of Raphael it proved your intentions to me.Those who seek knowledge dont like and appreciate crappy posts like that.

The Opinions of Chinese on Hinduism inside their country, if i wanted to start a troll thread I would have done it in the india section, just because I liked his post doesn't mean I took all if it to truth. so I just asked the mods to close it.

this was about Hindiusm in china, FYI I have never posted any thread to bash religion just to let you know.

You really really really thought you would be getting a proper answer from them after spending a year in the forum.

When was the last time you got a proper answer on a thread you started on a query you have here in PDF ?:what:

And you really really thought "this" as a right platform to discuss religion?

You are like 10-20% neutral.. need to add up the stats.

your accusations are naive making illogical assumptions their are plenty of other hindu bashing thread like in the other thread which was offensive but I never comment nor liked a single post, this was about Hinduism in China if you didn't read the title.

I doesn't matter on what I think I'm just asking the question, lets not get into the debate on my stance thats a topic for another time.

Religion was spread either by missionaries or by invasions. Hinduism never had the concept of missionaries and China never saw any Indian invasion.

End of the story.

Thank you roybot finally. time to ask the mods to close the thread.

you have selectively chosen to thank Hindu bashing posts. Your intentions are not academic but to get titillated from some kafir bashing.

Seeking for the views of Chinese on India in PDF is like indirectly starting a India bashing thread where all professionals come and continue trolling in a pre-planned stratergy. The way they debate has been the same everywhere...selected cheap topics are brought again and again and non sense posted again and again.

I take great offence coz it wastes my time in the forum..i am too cold hearted to be feeling low by the comments of real life loosers.I mean its so pathetic..i come here to know the views of intelligent sane people and not of some guy facing problems in real life and taking it on on someone else here.

The quality of debate goes really low when 3-4 usernames start joining the debate. It was such a wonderful topic and we could have discussed history and known in a better way as to how buddism got spread from India to various parts of the world..specially coz i am a science student and loved history but never got to study it.

Real waste of time and effort!

Although Yamaraj(Hindu God of Death) is mentioned in Chinese mythology.

Yama - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Perhaps this was probably the real reason. Aside from Southeast Asia Hinduism is not widely spread elsewhere around the world as well.

No not really you made assumptions if my whole intent was hindu bashing I would have posted in the other hindu bashing thread where that suicide troll sherali or whoever liked or thanked his posts I have not, I thanked his(Rapael) post because I was unaware limited knowledge on the subject did I judge without much knowledge maybe yes but does that mean my intent was to bash hinduism ? no not really.

anyway I've asked the mods to close the thread if it makes you feel better.

It was about hinduism in china unless India represents hinduism.

You can direct this question only to Chinese if Hindu missionaries were sent to China and they failed. But if Indians never tried to spread their religion in China, I don't see the point of asking the just the Chinese opinion. And from your single lined OP, it just appears that you wanted to start a fight and amuse yourself. You neither expect nor deserve an honest answer.

India is the birthplace of Hinduism,Jainism,Sikhism and Budhism.Keeping Indians out of the debate will not give you the complete picture and moreover this is the last place on earth that you would get to hear anything good about India or her religions.

you keep making assumption which is completely untrue, but feel free to believe what you want.

you avoided my question does india represent Hinduism ? this threads been dragged out from as far as it has gone, so I stop here it was simple to start a good discussion but as usual on PDF another thread turned into trollfest.

Actually indonesia, combodia, malaysia etc were hindu due to royal patronage once. Once hindus lost power in India, eventually royals in those countries changed religion and so did the people.

Sorry i missed your question.

India is a vast country.Hinduism is not restricted to India only in South Asia. All Indians are not Hindus and all Hindus are not Indians. Moreover we are a secular country we respresent each and every religion, ethnicity, language, culture etc present in our country.Like i said before Hinduism is not the only religion which was born in India.

Lastly for most of us country is bigger than religion.

Dragon is our ancient symbol, we do take it as a spiritual strength, not actually believe it exists. :coffee:

So it is ok to take strength from fictional things, but not-so-smart to take strength from living breathing thing whose milk we drank and will drink for rest of the life and whose help we took in the past for agrarian purposes ???

Does it seem very odd, to not to feel like eating someone whose milk we drink , other than your mother ??
