Hindu Rashtra: Will Modi's Hindutva Lead to Multiple Partitions of India?

^^Looks like every piss drinker with lower gdp per capita than us has a PhD in Vedic economics.
Do I want a bigger nominal gdp so we can play a bigger role in world politics? Ofcourse but it takes time and PPP should be focus of a developing nation.

Let's agree to disagree, when we compare countries' financial might (that's what was insinuated when someone claimed 'we are world largest/biggest...') generally most people refer to nominal except Indians.

.
Our first goal is livelihood of our fellow citizens. We are a country with lower labour wages according to western standards and a developing nation with future trajectory that will lead to high return on investments by foreign countries. We will develop our local industries and skill force and with time our nominal gdp will grow to it's true potential.

Livelihood of Indian citizens have improved a lot. Actually, we historically are a trade deficit country and that has caused a lots of devaluation in INR compared to what it should have been according to purchase power. Last FY, first two quarters were trade surplus but we ended the year with a very small trade deficit. That helped in stabilizing the INR. This year is likely to end with trade surplus. Trade surplus to gather with high remittance is causing a big fat rise in foreign exchange in reserve which will strengthen INR against any pother foreign currency. When this will happen, our nominal GDP will rise very rapidly. Imagine, INR strengthen by Rs 5. This can add 7% i.e about 200 bn USD to Indian economy. As INR is a highly devalued currency, it offers a great chance of appreciation. With India becoming a high technology driven and manufacturing economy, our currency will appreciate at a rapid rate and will surpass all the expectations.
