Article 42 (2): A person shall not be qualified for election as President unless he is a Muslim of not less than forty-five years of age and is qualified to be elected as member of the National Assembly.

Hence, A non-Muslim (which includes Ahmediyya Muslim community) cannot constitutionally hold the office of the President of Pakistan and the Prime Minister of Pakistan. However, no such requirement exists over other constitutional offices.

There are roughly 3+ million hindus in Pakistan, the number is more if you include sikhs. Of that some 4000 odd applied that too including the ones from Afghanistan. Yes our minorities are running away by the drove.

Lol there are 3-4 million hindus. How many tens of thousands are lining up to escape? Some of the ones who left wanted to gather sympathies and turn it into economic benefits too bad it did not pan out well for them on the otherside.

As I said better then being subjected to repeated pogroms. Not even being allowed to buy properties in many areas or even rent. So much less rights then the on paper fairytale...

Exactly true! They choose Pakistan over India. So, their loyalties lie with Pakistan. Only thing I want to add is we need to be proactive in raising their issues in the media, so that they don't become burden in future.
