It is high time Muslim nations located around Hindu India - Indonesia, Malaysia, BD, Maldives, Pakistan, Iran and Afghanistan, draw up a charter to ensure safety and fair treatment of all Muslims living in India.

First ensure safety and fare treatment of Muslims living in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Egypt, Syria, Somalia etc . Once, you do it, then; preach us or talk about Indian Muslims

3 people-2 Hindus and 1 muslim died in a clash on august 27 when the sister of hindus was allegedly molested.

So cheap politicians used this attempt to communalize this incident.AS result of which 14 muslims and 7 hindus died.

Molestations and murders happen everyday in India some time back a girl was raped in mumbai by guys who were mostly muslims but did that lead to riots in mumbai?

There is a difference. In city like Mumbai, Girls are not raped knowing the cast. In small villages and towns girls are targeted knowingly if they are Hindu girls.

I would rather live in a nation that has zero guns and a strong rule of law with an efficient and working judiciary, and that is my dream for India. Where social stability is the norm and respect is grated to scholars and not bullies with guns.

Switzerland is a tiny nation who claim neutrality, with NO standing army, with a per-capita income of 79,000$ and population density of 188 person/sq. km, with clean mountain air and cool climate.

You are comparing that with India who has one of the largest standing armies in the world, one of the largest para military in the world, where the per capital income is 1,594$ and a population density of 382 persons/sq. km with hot and wet climate, Multiple religions, Multiple races, Multiple castes, multiple languages etc...

If you given guns to all Indians then it will be another Pakistan. , probaly a lot worse since our population density is much higher than that of pakistan and our difference is MUCH larger.

I happen to be a Nair too. There is no kalari experts defending our kudumbha shetram. It is now a temple which is being taken care of by one of our relative who is now continuously cribbing how the whole thing has become a headache for them. They cannot take care of it, they cannot destroy it.

In any case not too many Nair households keep weapons in their homes, the only knives you will find in my house or any of my relatives is in the kitchen........ we now have computers and books instead. That was in a lighter vein so take it as a joke.

It is not Buddhist if at all they have said it. Just google and see the kind of weapons Buddhist monasteries have stored over years. The problem is, thanks to a few clowns and Ambedkar worshippers, people have come to think Buddhist = Pushover pu$$y.

One couldn't get any more wrong than that.

Of course, we did initiate with a no-weapons policy but like mainstream Hinduism, Buddhist philosophy is also evolving and adaptive to the changing times.

We especially of the Himalayas have a long history of having weapons in our houses just like the Sikhs and Keralite Hindus (Nair clan, the practitioners of Kalaripayattu) and Gurkha Hindus keep.

Maybe you should study the rein of Maharaja Ranjit Singh and his commander Hari Singh Nalwa.And Gun control enables the criminals to get the guns only.Police is inefficient in defending the public.

Even with gun control,robbers get guns via black market in UP .At least with legalisation of guns ,robbers will think 100 times that if he kills ,the other family members will kill him for sure. Its much more difficult to rob then.
