India has thousnads of years of indigenous architecture that I think is superior(Just my opinion of course)
As you said, that's your opinion and as a result very subjective. However, what is objective is that the overwhelming majority of people prefer Mughal architecture.
with that being said, they definitelybenefitted SA more in the long run.
So did the Mughals, they build/developed many cities/towns in Hindustan.
Good English skills also makes it easier for Indians to migrate to the US and UK and send back remittances.
No offence, but most Hindustanis who aren't born and raised in the West speak terrible English (same goes for most other non-Western communities).
Maybe for Pakistan, the Moghuls were better.
Agreed.
Most of what the UK introduced would have reached the region anyway, they just accelerated the process.
Also, I have to disagree about Shivaji not being popular among anyone other than Hindu nationalists. He is extremely popular among Maratis and Konkanis,
Right, I forgot to mention those guys too.
regardless of caste and religion.
No Muslim would like him. Admire his tactics? Perhaps, but we would most certainly not like his character, and if somebody does, I highly doubt that they would be religious (even if they were, this very action nullifies their Islam).
Shivaji was India's version of George Washington.
I don't see it. I think Gandhi is more like your George Washington.
Overall, Indians view SHivaji the way Pakistanis view Aurangzeb and Tipu Sultan.
Most Pakistanis only think they're cool, nobody goes crazy over them. The overwhelming majority of Pakistanis are only nationalistic about our current nation and early Islam.
The irony is both those men were born in modern India
Tipu Sultan had Punjabi ancestry, and Aurangzeb was only born a few km away from Pakistan (Pakistan also flourished under his rule).
Hindustan has plenty of heroes from Pakistan too, e.g Panini, Akbar, and Kanishka.
