what is more beneficial in the long run should be taken into consideration. Pakistan has a history of not looking beyond and It's time to break that train of thought. Therefore. with rampant corruption occuring in every inch of the nation, such positive developments do not make a difference but boost the egos of some people. Until the common man sees real change this will continue.Unfortunately, all these political quagmires happen at such intervals. Do we allow the 50-70% corruption of PML(N) and let such positive developments come in peace? or do we let this anti-corruption world continue in this unstable impression and drive away such opportunities?.
Decisions Decisions for Mall Road..
Depends if someone in Pakistan could take the net present value of each path and decide on that rather than emotions.what is more beneficial in the long run should be taken into consideration. I agree. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a political leader which will look at the situation that way. IK, in my opinion, has portrayed himself as an extremely power hungry individual and NS, well we know his history.Depends if someone in Pakistan could take the net present value of each path and decide on that rather than emotions.
Pakistan can't take all the isolation, damn
That is exactly what it is. There is no Malcom X in Pakistan but plenty of Elijah Mohammads.I agree. I think the majority of civilised Indians, and we are not a small number, will endorse this view.
There are other views.
That is only centralised on the methods adopted by Pakistan to instigate India, However, that is an anther topic altogether. The thread is about Pakistan and Italy - Hope that this is a long-term investment in trade relations and not a knee jerk reaction!
As you said, that is another topic, and one best left to fester in its own filth. I, too, hope for the sake of all of us that this is a long-term investment. It is not clear, however, why the Italians should be jerking their knees.
It's a speculative one but our relations have strained a bit with the whole fiasco of Italian Marines murdering our fisherman and us taking them to court, the corruption scandals and putting their defense companies on trial for defense-related bribes i.e. Finmeccanica
correct me if I am wrong but, its just opportunism at best!
There is that. I was hoping against hope that they would be a little more mature than that. Sometimes south Europeans act like third world people. That's how these utter imbeciles are behaving now. I could so wish that they'd grow up.
It's in their hereditary, history has a way of repeating itself! you know who supported the Nazi's in the time of peril! Italians are just a bunch of spoiled momma's boys!
